If tragic clown Thomson is pro Rudden then I'm against. Surely we need to bring Eetu back? Not because he's suddenly amazing or will likely make any difference to the team, but leaving him there until his contract expires confirms it was all a waste. Bringing him back and giving him another 1-2 chances brings with it a 5% chance he works out and gets a new deal. No Brainer for me assuming the deal allows.

I hate the circumstances of signing Crawford and the reprehensible length of his contract (Davidson actions) much more than I hate Crawford. All this time later and I'm still as furious as I was when it happened. Crawford will always be tarnished by, and additionally 'disliked' because of, the above. That said, the fact he's useless and half hearted in 90% of his appearances doesn't help. Gary Mcdonald the other name thar comes to mind? I think he ended up getting released partway through his contract? Although still a calendar year until Crawford reaches the same point.

From the moment Hallberg came off I thought Carey was constantly sitting far too deep, constantly demanding the ball when far too deep rather than letting it go anywhere else, and constantly launching nonsense long balls that had no chance. A lot of that might be the manager's fault instead of his, but he's too selfish, i.e too much of an attacker, to ever play deep midfield again. Not least cos he's one of the few vaguely competent people we've got in the attacking half.
