It demonstrably isn't though. Jim Duffy got his big book of football contacts out and shipped whoever was out of the picture at Cappielow. Fast forward to now and it's the same policy. Ramsbottom was signed by both regimes this year alone FFS.

Focused on... what exactly? It's the middle of June and so hee-haw is happening at my team.

Again, if you don't want pesky Morton or Falkirk fans pissing on your 'signing revolution!!!111!!!' groupthink then you're on the wrong website.

Ramsbottom earned himself a new contract after his performances for us - FFS indeed can’t believe Duffy and Faz have the exact same signing policy. We may as well have kept Duffy on cause we’d have the exact same squad as we do now 🥴

They don't stop being our jobber cast-offs after one season and your new goalkeeper went from punted at Cappielow, to free agent, to getting the call from Duffy halfway through last season.

The only difference is the speed of putting a squad together. If Duffy had stayed in charge then he'd have been targeting the exact same players (and indeed already brought one of them to the club), so it's hardly the revolutionary new approach that some are claiming then.

So any player we sign that has ever played for the mighty Greenock Morton is a “jobber cast off”? Got it.

It’s a completely different approach from last season and god forbid we enjoy a bit of positivity around the club.

I’d be more focussed on your own team if I were you.  Or maybe that’s why you’re here - to take your mind off it.

  3. 3 really positive signings today.  This is wonderful stuff.  We could be looking at not only a quality squad but one with some real depth compared to the last few seasons.  As has been said it’s night and day compared to last seasons recruitment.  We usually do good business in the loan market too so we hopefully have that to look forward to.

  4. My main concern re: Paton was a central midfield of him and Carswell but depending how Faz sets us up it might be fine.

Happy to take on some young guys such as Lynch too cause it gives us more cover for some of the older guys.

Overall, a very solid day at the office and it’s refreshing to see us have a large amount of players sorted prior to preseason training.

2 years! Lovely. The home top looks smart as well, perhaps the images we were voting on haven't done it justice.

I wasn’t a big fan of any of the vote designs either but the home top is looking pretty nice.

Media team are doing a great job with the teasing and announcement videos.  Much more exciting than just the statement going up.  Hope they keep the mental vids coming too.

  6. Not seen him play in quite a few years but at 34 I can imagine he’s still about 5x faster than Forbes.  As has been said, his presence at the club and on the pitch will be invaluable.  I love a comeback too so I’m on board.

    McGeever

    We are hard as f**k.

  7. Two year deal oaft.  I don’t think it’s the worst thing in the world having a few players signed up before getting the new manager in since a few clubs are moving fast but it certainly is a bit mad.

From what’s been said on here he had a few other options so it’s nice to see he’s chosen us - especially with Darvel probably throwing a wedge at him

I dunno if I'm at the bit you're on about but I'm in the benevito house right now, was thinking it was pretty calm, just a little bit creepy then i completed the first door puzzle, just encountered something that made me drop the controller turn off the telly and go outside to touch the grass. Fifa for the rest of the night for me!

It was indeed House Benevito 😁😂

Surprised the bookies have Edinburgh at 3.80 to win tonight, considering Dumbarton could afford to lose by a goal and still stay up.

Stuck a few quid on it however my betting record has been horrendous recently so, congratulations to Dumbarton on their comfortable victory.

Mcbookie have Edinburgh City to win by 2 or more goals at 22/1 for any Sons fans that fancy an “insurance” bet.

I'm not that far yet, just killed the first one, I think. I honestly can't play it too long at once as I just turn into a bag of nerves.

Looking forward to seeing how you cope with a certain sequence… 👀  Nightmare fuel.

  11. Just finished my first run at roughly 13 hours and I skipped quite a few of the optional treasure spots and hidden areas.

There’s also a lot of unlockable content after completing the game so I’m definitely going to get my money’s worth.

If you’re not too keen on replaying the campaign and doing speed runs, knife-only runs etc, playing mercenaries and going for 100% maybe wait for a price drop but there’s a lot more content than 7 (excluding all the DLC which was excellent - a bit gutted they don’t seem to have any planned for Village).

There are some absolutely batshit crazy moments in this game and I loved every one of them.
