I disagree slightly Gordon. Main target last season should have been finish in the top six. Next step qualify for Europe this season. Compete for second position next season and win one of the cups maybe and then go for the title season 2019/2020 maybe fighting for a league and cup double. Those are more realistic targets and financially viable within their budget without running excess debt chasing the dream. But unfortunately for the bears themselves the only target is to beat Celtic and all that matters. Wouldn't matter one fucking jot for The Rangers fans if The Rangers finished in 5th position as long as Celtic finished in 6th position.

I just can't see Rodger's getting the Arsenal gig especially when there are far more high profile failures than Rodgers out there the Arsenal fans would complain less about. If Rodgers had got Celtic through to the Champions League quarter finals then he might have had a slim chance because of the budget at Celtic compared to the behemoth clubs competing for the Champs League.
