  1. If the SFA strip newco FC of their membership then the rest is irrelevant. No Club can play in any league in Scotland unless they are SFA affiliates.
  2. The entire Scottish tabloid press is staffed with moronic journalists who, quite frankly, report pish for the great unwashed - eg the average OF reader. For example, Doran Goian is in today's Scottish Sun as saying he'll play on for TRFC no matter which league they're playing in. The Daily Record is reporting that the same player has told Charles Green that he won't play in Division 3! As another aside, the Sun is reporting that the SPL is considering banning TRFC from next season's League Cup competition - and there was I thinking that this was an SFL competition over which the SPL has no jurisdiction. Silly me!!
  3. Be even funnier seeing a photo of Fat Sally in the Daily Ranger receiving his SFL Division 3 'Manager of the Month' award!
  4. Maybe not, but your use of the words "we will rake in quite a bit" clearly inferred that. In reality, the only players who will transfer across to the newco are those without any real value - youth players or those at the fag end of their careers - the rest will take the opportunity that the voiding of their contracts presents to sign for Clubs in England and elsewhere thus reaping in large signing-on fees with their agents also profiting of course. Now that Rangers FC 1872 is finally dead, perhaps you should take the opportunity to reflect on why the vast majority of fans of 'diddy' Clubs like mine detested Rangers FC and all they stood for. Finally, I would take the opportunity to say that - as some others have already commented - I have respect for you for coming onto P&B to put forward your views which, for the most part, were sensible and spoken from the heart. You will be most welcome to join us when the Bhoys get into similar difficulties which I suspect wil be sooner rather than later.
  5. No chance. There is no way the valuable players will transfer to the newco as TUPE clearly states that they have a choice. Put it this way, if McGregor, Naismith et al are advised by their agents (as I'm sure they have been) that they can either transfer across and the newco recoups a transfer fee OR they can consider their registrations null and void and get a huge signing on fee from somewhere else, what do you think they'll do? Oh I forgot, they don't do walking away. Keep clutching at those straws though!
  6. Page 1774 already! After page 1690, I guess the next milestone page is 1872? Wait a minute ......... make that 2012. God, what a great day! :D
  7. But there is no "Glasgow" in their Club name - it is only "The Rangers Football Club Ltd" is it not? Nae luck there then!
  8. In the (highly) unlikely event that the CVA is accepted by creditors holding at least 75% of the debt, there is still a 28-day 'cooling off' period before RFC can come out of administration. Only after then (is it really 12 July!) could they sign players.. Even that assumes that they are not suspended by the SFA which would make the signing of players this year irrelevant. Happy days!
  9. A fine is not on the cards as RFC has already been fined the maximum allowable under the SFA's rules. It's either expulsion the Scottish Cup or league football. As a Scottish Cup ban would be seen as too lenient, expulsion it is. Happy days!
  10. By agreeing to the SFA's Articles of Association, Rangers forfeited any recourse to the civil courts - that is the point here. However, all you have done is sealed your own fate. I, for one, can't wait to dance on your grave.
  11. Indeed they are. All we all need now is for your lot to p*ss off somewhere else and it's happy days for the real football fans in this country.
  12. As the upcoming OF game is a league fixture, the Gers get no income from it apart from a share of the TV money. That ain't going to make much a difference given the debt they've amassed cheating their way to upteen honours. They're f*cked and I'm polishing my dancing shoes!.
  13. But, but, but ....................... Ally said they don't do walking away!
  14. So what? Hopefully, your lot of East Coast bigots will be the next to fold. Happy days!
  15. Wylde walks away? Surely not, they don't do walking away do they?
  16. I think Morton fans filled your coffers during the two seasons we spent together in the seaside league, including filling the away stand in May 2007.
  17. Too late for that now the fixtures are out. It'll be a 9-team First Division if Livi go under.
  18. Too late - once the fixtures are out that's it settled. If Livi go under it's a 9 team First Division with SFL compensation to each remaining Club for the lost home games.
  19. I would have thought paying the leccy bill was quite 'pressing', but Massone hasn't paid that yet has he?
  20. I see the Livingston Official site has been down since Saturday - server maintenance apparently.
  21. Livi selling Season Tickets for next season as from Monday next. No provision for paying by instalments this time around - funny that. Who's going to be daft enough to buy one of those?
