Great result today! We always seem to do really well if we get the first goal. Especially later in the game as the opponent is throwing everything at an equaliser, we get really good counter attack opportunities and the goals start flowing in the last 10-15 mins. Can anyone comment on how we played today that was attending?

I'm confused, you literally just listed all the reasons we were a shambles... What else do you want to go wrong in a game of football? Okay, we didn't lose 6 goals but you can't set that as the bar of being a shambles tactically .We did absolutely nothing today to deserve a goal never mind 3 points today.

I’m sorry but I’ve no idea what you’ve been watching but it wasn’t the game today. There was no linkup play or any kind of organised play whatsoever. Absolute shambles for the past few weeks and not much better before that either.

I’m sorry but I haven’t seen one good passage of play today. It was an absolute scrap. We genuinely don’t think there was 6 consecutive passes the whole match. Please name me one good passage of play from today. Our style of play is absolutely non existent and the position of Farrell has to be seriously looked at before Christmas.

I’m also not going along with this “lost the dressing room” nonsense. There is now way he’s lost the dressing room after a single defeat and draw. Confidence was through the roof before that.

I don’t totally disagree but teams have been missing plenty of decent chances and I know that comes with the quality of opposition in this league but the team just haven’t filled me with much confidence. We have been playing counter attacking football all season and it’s been working quite well but there doesn’t seem to be much of a plan if we fall behind. All tactics fly out the window at that point.

The point I was making is that the performances haven’t actually been that good but obviously nobody complains in if it’s picking you up 3 points every week, myself included. But it doesn’t take too much imagination to compare them with the struggling performances we displayed for the majority of last season.

I agree. I’m fully aware that sacking him tonight would be pretty mental but I can’t say I would be totally against it. I’ve definitely got some deja vu alarm bells ringing from last season. The performances tell a different story than the results in my opinion.
