I’m pretty certain that’s me in the first pic, on the left in front of the person holding the camera actually, maybe not, looks like they’re wearing a white t shirt, so maybe one of the players! I also have some pics from that day that were presumably taken on a comically bad camera phone, but they are far too embarrassing to share on here.

I like how Mark Durnan has gone from being our standout CB that rescued last season, to finished, in the space of a few weeks.

I agree, but what worries me is we’re going back to first season in L2 Fazball.

I’m quite surprised by Farrell’s interview. I expected him to just say everything’s great and it’s only a matter of time until we start winning and it all comes together… I just hope he doesn’t start second-guessing himself and overthinking too much. He’s had a tendency to do that in the past (e.g. Finlay Gray on the wing) and it’s seldom worked out. I think there will be mixed opinions on this in the fanbase. Some will say, it’s not working and we have to change it, others will say we are one game away from a great win. I think I’m in the latter. His comment about possibly having to start playing ugly has me worried. We’ve played well in pretty much every game. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

IIRC it was actually him that unlocked your defence, leading to the penalty for our second goal in the 2-1 playoff game at the rock, after coming off the bench. I thought he looked decent when he got a chance, but was hard to judge fully on the limited viewing.
