  1. Read the tray nor article in the Record, why I don't know ? Certainly the comments seem to be 99% against his opinion but one of those who didn't was this guy David Senior 3:42 PM on 13/6/2012 mr david murray should pay some of the ouitstanding tax bill.20 yrs of bad management and misleading us season ticket holders,i always said murray funded his companies from rangers cashflow.if rangers are vetoed to div.3,scottish football will suffer,it will be humiliating for scottish football etc.i seen this coming since the constant dragging out of affairs since admin.as a rangers fan we will not forget all the teams, etc that have kick us and put us down.mr traynor we will come back stronger and will have our revenge on teams,we will not forget our 140 years of history, maybe a newco but the glasgow rangers is always here. Talk about deluded no wonder we can't get any contrition from most of the club formerly known as Rangers supporters given their understanding of the situation. Dear David you are a helmet Murray funded everything through RBS, Rangers were a bottomless pit and with the EBT case looming LLoyds told Murray to get rid and they wanted their money or they'd pull the plug on the whole empire. Role in Craig Whyte with his quid , why pay £18m to Lloyd's and not pay PAYE they used Ticketus knowing they would never be in a position for Ticketus to have 3 or 4 years of ST's. Anyone who saw Whyte's track record in business could have predicted this outcome. Green well he's just on the make another who will take the bad PR until all repercussions have taken place and then roll in McColl and Co. What I really object to is this The Rangers there is no way that should be allowed to stand anything with Rangers in the title is totally wrong , they can be Glasgow whatever they want but not The Rangers ,Thee Rangers, A N other Rangers ,never paid our taxes so we died Rangers, we did nothing wrong gun Rangers, let us off and we'll promise to behave Rangers, come on Aberdeen escaped relegation twice so they are worse than us Rangers.
  2. With all the other clubs wanting equality and an end to a structure that benefits Celtic and formerly Rangers RIP. Celtic might not be the definite No that everyone thinks. I expect them to hold out on the decision for as long as possible. They have got as much to lose as to gain in the long term and if they have to share out Tv money and sponsorship . Despite all the bravado of a lot of Celtic supporters on here we know without the whole rivalry with a sprinkle of bigotry the coffers will go down they need each other. So I would not take the gesturing of the Celtic support no matter how well intentioned they are but that does not mean Lawell will see it that way.
  3. The other guy (Penfold - writer guy) backed him up only Tom English actually said. Now Michael Kelly talking utter bollox, who cares about what has been won in the past it is about the decisions taken now. Yet again that balloon Rangers blogger flogging the dead horse that they have suffered enough , (you just shake your head at these people) Kelly and the guy who doesn't have anything to blog about wanting to keep the OF games along with wooooff !! Archie , typical OF wankfest we have grown used to .
  4. Even if that was the case that is not relevant to this case. Again there is a failure to fess up to the wrong doing. Why the need to even mention it at all. It just seemed a tit for tat but thats not what your club whatever the name becomes need.
  5. The Rangers historian guy puts the boot into Aberdeen , the more these people speak the more obnoxious they become.
  6. UEFA and FIFA would not allow that scenario, the police would object , a total non starter IMHO
  7. Ok if we take Traytor at his word and the Newco is treated as a total separate entity from Rangers then they don't have SPL membership and no vote on any outcome. They would/should have to apply for SFA/SFL membership. People like Traytor are self protecting non entities just looking after their readership sales rather than stating the truth. So if this went down the CVA route would it be ok to punish them or would that be another issue. It is what we all know as lazy journalism
  8. I think thats why HMRC have a policy to liquidate rather accept a CVA as this prevents any investigation into previous directors actions. This allows HMRC to go after Whyte and possibly Minty. Whyte must be on their radar for sure the guy is just carpet bagging companies up and down the country. They will want to confirm Whyte has no holding on the assets. I think HMRC have done their bit by ensuring the matter is investigated now it is up to the football authorities to do their duty.
  9. http://www.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=778:charles-green-is-not-loaning-his-investment&catid=103:board&Itemid=531 Wow !!! That place is inhabited by absolute rockets. They are like frigging mackerel. No8 seems to be the only one of their support who seems prepared to accept an responsibility. Green has never had any connection with Rangers but there is a belief that he had the best intentions to help the clubs recovery does anyone else see Charles Green as anything other than an asset stripper, he is a carbon copy of Hugh Scott or Reg Brearly.
  10. Sally will insist on transparency will he not so with that he'll happily tell us who voted to keep them in. It would be ironic if the other clubs lost supporters due to allowing a Newco to remain in the SPL.
  11. Does the TUPE rules not state that the same conditions would have to be in place for a certain period of time and would the allow any Newco from selling those players.
  12. I remember a few games pre -Minty when that wasn't exactly true. I wonder how many glory hunters will turn up to watch 'not the real Glasgow Rangers' against Stenny or Annan. Less shirt sales, less advertising revenue, yes we all know you'll easily out spend all the others but every game clubs will raise their game and the supporters will relish every goal scored. I hope the other SPL clubs chairman grow a pair and get an equal share of any TV deal or sponsorship.
  13. Charming, what a lovely bunch. It is always reassuring when your first impressions prove correct.
  14. HMRC have done the right thing people like Whyte will just move on to another struggling company and continue in the same vein. They have made a stand to persue Whyte to a potential conviction and to no doubt achieve a life time ban of being a company director. Murray has duped the banks time and time again but HMRC has a right to layout all his dealings to see if anything illegal has taken place. If they do this then maybe the myth of being someone who should be revered would be finally destroyed.
  15. I don't get it , Green hasn't put a penny into Rangers yet he is making statement after statement on the clubs official propaganda machine, so who gives him the right to do that Duff & Phelps, given their track record in this they haven't even got their own supposed expertise right. Why can't Rangers supporters see Green for what he is ? They are pathetic, clinging onto another con mans rhetoric. If the CVA fails which it has and liquidation is the only scenario who gives Haudit & Daudit the say on what happens next ? Well done to HMRC for their decision anything else would be a travesty , lets hope their next action is to go after Whyte and then prove the big tax case and give Minty a call. I wonder if the authorities will view this as an opportunity to excise the sectarian chants and baubles and hammer any show of it by any phoenix club.
  16. Craig Whyte I doubt is a Rangers fan just the average shyster on the make he didn't create this mess he was only doing Murray's dirty work. You cannot be that gullible you can't see who the real culprit is in this affair.
  17. Would any new signings not require a signing on fee? No doubt any players signed their contracts would be scrutinised by the SFA, I hope .
  18. Does it matter how many posts or views this particular thread gets as it does not signify people are genuinely interested in the situation other than a lot of those watching the car crash unfold in front of them. The fact was/is you cannot attract the buyers you need to stave off your clubs downfall. People like Hughie are just going to make a quick buck and flog everything he can before disappearing and you'll be back to square one. One of the reasons the situation may have captured some coverage is due to the mess the whole thing has become. Do you believe your club will be in safe hands with Green even if he gets the CVA accepted. He has convinced himself he will be the able to just start up a Newco with everything in place while the creditors get next to nothing why would anyone accept that.
  19. So why didn't the administrators also do this ? After all their duty was to get the business to stop losing money. Then again you are talking about football matters that seem to be a hypothetical given the uncertainty of the acceptance of the CVA , never mind the blind faith in Green. Rangers supporters seem to be like children subservient to whoever is in charge at Greyskull. Failed to ask Murray where the money was coming from or where it was going, Whyte ??? Aye .. he was going to save you and take you to another level , unfortunately /fortunately that level was downward. Green with no connection to the club and some history within the football world not exactly positive from all accounts but he will have a totally different attitude as it is the mighty Glasgow Rangers ....lets see how that pans out for you. Sell everything off , fixtures and fittings put it on Ebay or Gumtree and at least then HMRC and others will not be back in a few years time.
