  2. You are showing your ignorance sir. The incident was an oldham game and was not followed up by the police as there was no evidence/case to answer. As for the Suarez thing, how do you know what he said in reality? I think you have been willing to believe the wrong type of people simply because it suits your worldview. Persisting in trying to blame the dead for their own demise when a right wing government admits it was down to police incompetence is shameful. As you evil or wilfully ignorant?
  3. Stunning ignorance by so many people on this thread.I can only assume that those people are either too young to have watched the scenes with their own eyes, or too thick to read the official and anecdotal reports. If David Cameron feels the need to throw the establishment under the bus surely the alarm bells must be ringing in the tiny minds of even the most dedicated of internet trolls? But then again that may not suit their agenda...
  4. "CHARLES GREEN revealed the Ibrox club have settled all their outstanding bills with Scottish clubs Charles Green Rangers FC Charles Green Rangers FC" Is this the official name they are running with now? So good he named it after himself, twice?
  5. Murray really should be worried about prison rather than bleating on about lost tin pots and being victimised. VICTIMISED! what a laugh, the establishment team did everything in their power to grind all competitors into dust for the last 100 years until they had the brass neck to try and rip off Her Maj too. And now they are still living in denial, casting about for someone to blame, anyone to blame, because they can`t accept that they did this to themselves. David Murray should have bought his first love A*r United when he had the chance, now that would have been funny...
  6. This is a very important point. Every OF fan on these boards NOT from Glasgow should personally justify their supporting of said team {and dead team} or be forever excluded from our hallowed company.
  7. quick question to the worst player in the Team That Cant Be Named`s ex-history: Are you; {A} From Glasgow and therefore have every right to support the memory of your corrupt dead team? {B} A glory hunter who should be supporting his home town team? {C} An inbred bigot with no means of expressing his rage other than to attack people with different backgrounds from themselves? Just asking, like, as a social experiment.
  8. After many years of working on a saturday and other distractions i had actually been considering getting a season ticket for Rugby Park this season, and taking my children too. If Michael Johnston {note i won`t say Killie} votes to resurrect Rangers by any means i won`t be back in the ground at all. Their festering corpse needs to be staked through the heart, beheaded and buried at a crossroads before it`s ashes are scattered to the winds. It should not be given the kiss of life by lick-spittle chairmen hoping for a handout from their undead masters. Why not be done with both of the Old Firm remnants, form a league of two like they have on the scilly isles and have SKY televise 38 games a year? Us "diddy teams" can have our own competitive league accepting a derogatory TV payoff {equal to the one we already get} and everyone will be happy. They get to exist in their self-sustaining sectarianism, we get to go to our stadiums and watch actual football without all the crap that comes with having the human refuse from Glasgow in attendance. Sorted.
  9. Indeed. Celtic and Rangers are not pillars. They are an embarrassment to Scotland and their complicity towards creating a duopoly is what has been strangling football for decades. Yet still these people see themselves somehow as the victims... There are no healthy leagues where strangleholds of power exist, the most successful league in the world is the NFL, where, bizarrely, 32 billionaires work together in an almost socialist manner to share profits, revenue and engender parity so that they all benefit and the league remains healthy. In Scotland we have the opposite situation and this is why the league is broken. The death of Rangers is just a symptom caused by their own stupidity: they killed the golden goose.
  10. This bit is interesting...who would the likely candidates be? Cowdenbeath, anyone?
  11. How disappointing for Brown, they don`t even have those steps like wot the jungle jims built for those times of trouble so that the eloquent could be heard spouting their sermon from the mount. i can`t even see the formerly ginger hacking animal beast.
  12. They are still in denial. Deflecting all blame away from themselves, looking for scapegoats and conspiracies when THEY DID IT TO THEMSELVES.
  13. Well i could answer with some obvious slurs here...however, why don`t you enlighten us "diddy team" supporters with what is was like to grow up and become a Rangers supporter? What different factions are there in these fan groups, do they have much in common, like actually having the stones to work together and save their club (in whatever form it will become)? Or have they just become the very thing that has seen the clubs demise: bloated, arrogant, lazy and corrupt? I`m serious, this isn`t a wind-up. Perhaps the fans have just been so used to being handed everything on a plate, never having had to toil through hard times, relegation threats etc, that they don`t actually have any character?
  14. staunchest what though? There are as many green and grey hoops groupies in ayrshire as there are deluded ex-gers. These OF fans just don`t get that there are 3 thirds in the scottish football fanbase: the OF two and the rest of us who hate them both.
  15. First Post here. As you can see from my user name i am a Killie fan, I have lurked on this thread a little bit, but felt the need to register. I have been a Killie fan for 30+ years, and have many friends who are Killie fans, i can honestly say that NOT ONE of them would vote YES to keeping Rangers in the SPL. Killie are getting tarred unjustly with the usual "**** without the bus fare jibes {funny how those turn into "**** without the bus fare" when Rangers are in town} simply because we have a bean counter as a chairman. I`m not even sure he has done his sums right. I for one won`t be back at Rugby Park, won`t pay the already inflated prices, buy food or a pint in the swanky hotel if he votes to keep that lot in our league. And there are a lot of people like me. Perhaps Mr Johnston should consider those numbers on a large scale over the course of a season. Rangers {and the flipside of the coin Celtic} have carved up the Scottish League between them for over a hundred years, those of you who are fans of the "smaller teams" know what i mean: -They have had the bulk of the money from every source and always wanted a bigger slice of the pie. -They sucked up young talent from around Scotland and let it rot in the reserves. -They tempted away promising players from other clubs in Scotland with salaries at 10x their present rate, and routinely paid under the market value for those players. Witness their strop at not being given David Goodwillie when Dundee United sought to get a fair market price for the player. -They siphoned off local fans away from the areas of other teams, whether based on ancient bigotry or engendered desires to bask in reflective glories. Most often Rugby Park is not even full for the visit of the Old Firm, their away support has diminished greatly, and all around are banners such as "Galston Loyal" or "Auchinleck Bears" and the like. -They attributed all the political power {see the ludicrous 10-2 veto power} for themselves by loading committees and the power structure. -They seduced the media with the ability to increase circulation and interest. Essentially RANGERS {and CELTIC} have broken the league through their own greed. Yet, despite all of these advantages Rangers felt the need to go even further and cheat the league and their rivals by the use of highly dubious accounting. They bought and paid players when they couldn`t afford them. They stole from us. I have no sympathy for them because they did this to themselves. If it was my club we would be left to die. They are not a special case, without the other teams there is no league. The vote should be a unanimous NO to newco.
