  1. Come on, "hearts and minds"? I don't think the George W. Bush book of anti-terrorism is what Israel should be following. And what was leaving Gaza in 2005 and giving complete control to the PA if not an attempt at peace? When Fatah controlled it things were good. When Hamas took over things went bad. Whatever Israel has tried to do to solve the conflict in the last 50 years hasn't work. The initiative for peace has to come from the Palestinians (like Abbas, who wants peace). As long as some want to destroy Israel and continue terrorism there will be no peace process. When the terrorists want to destroy your country and murder all your people there is no way to 'appease' them.
  2. Here you go. This is ignoring all you're nonsense about Israel itself. You seem very willing to answer questions and make statements about Jews which are just completely and utterly incorrect.
  3. Appears Israel are going to take 1,000 acres of land in the West Bank - near where the three Israelis were kidnapped. http://www.timesofisrael.com/state-seizes-1000-acres-in-west-bank/ Definitely a poor move from them, bad for the peace process.
  4. What on earth are you on about now? I was laughing at al6x3 for being yet another person (like yourself) completely ignorant of judaism yet thinking they are an expert on it.
  5. Leader of Hamas Khaled Meshaal gives a press conference from his home in Doha, Qatar. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/11063703/Hamas-leader-praises-balance-of-terror-with-Israel-as-Abbas-says-Netanyahu-agreed-to-Palestinian-state.html "The Holocaust perpetrated by Israel is twice as great as the Holocaust perpetrated by Hitler, because it bombed schools and hospitals," Mr Meshaal said, in speech broadcast from Doha, Qatar where he lives. Mr Meshaal praised the Palestinian forces for achieving "a balance of terror" with Israel, the Middle East's strongest army, and threatened that this war "was not the last campaign for the liberation of Palestine, only an important way station on the way to victory."
  6. You've said this a large number of times. I've still no clue what you are talking about. In any event your rambling opinions aren't news (note - not new's) and you do realise that things happen in Israel that aren't actually relevant to Palestine? Just because rabid Israel haters like yourself would like to portray the country's entire existence as revolving around Palestine doesn't make it true.
  7. Don't forget all the concrete for those lovely tunnels. Self-determination is great when you can decide to use children as slave labour to dig tunnels for your cause. Yeah 160 kids were killed building the tunnels but when they aren't killed by Jews it doesn't matter.
  8. It's called "news." This thread is about Israel and the Palestinians. These are "news" stories relating to Israel. Here is some helpful information if you are still confused http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/news
  9. Four men decapitated in Egypt by Islamist militants for allegedly giving information to Israel http://www.haaretz.com/news/middle-east/1.612924
  10. 43 UN peacekeepers detained by "armed group" in disputed Golan Heights, with 81 others trapped, UN says http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-28972436
  11. What the f**k are you talking about? Do you have some medication you are forgetting to take?
  12. One race keeping another down is, according to the ICSPCA definition, " inhumane acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them:" Notice the use of the word - ACTS - not thoughts, not words, nor opinions. Acts. I agree that one interpretation of those comments is that apartheid legislation would be introduced against Arabs (which would obviously be blocked by the supreme court). There are others as well. But ultimately, there is no apartheid in Israel right now. Which is what you have claimed over and over again. It just doesn't exist. I agree that it could be a possibility, however unlikely, in future, but it just does not exist right now and there is no way to introduce it without completely dismantling the current apparatus of the state of Israel.
  13. SodaStream considering relocating factory in West Bank to Israel due to BDS movement. 900 Palestinians could lose jobs. "Those who seek to help the Palestinians end up hurting us," said Nabil Bashrat, 40, a resident of Ramallah who worked at the factory. "(The factory) provides income to hundreds of families, entire villages. Peace is what happens here inside, and not outside. Those who are abroad don't understand the relations and actually sabotage the process. The factory draws us closer. Even in times of instability, as was during the war in Gaza, everything was as usual here." http://www.shalomlife.com/business/25438/op-ed-bds-victory-over-sodastream-may-equal-900-palestinians-out-of-work/?PageSpeed=noscript
  14. Probably because most of your examples aren't true. How about I give some real examples. There are Arab-Israeli supreme court justices who have power to veto decisions made by elected politicians. There are parties for the minorities. Minorities are allowed to vote and serve in the army. There are Arab-Israeli politicians in the Knesset who support Gaza and Hamas and want to see an end to the state of Israel. They have defended the people who started this conflict by murdering three teenagers and - unlike dissenters in Gaza - they haven't been murdered in the street. One of these politicans just happens to be an Arab women - how many of Arab female politicians are there in the entire Arab world? The government funds specific education for Arabs with Arab history and culture. Arabic is an official language of Israel and taught in schools to almost all students. The definition of apartheid - which you gave - is that one race is oppressing another. No race is being oppressed in Israel and, according to you, Jews are not a race - so how can they be racist oppressors?
  15. 15 more "informants" rounded up by Hamas. Will probably be added to the 50+ already killed in the last month for "collaborating" with Israel. http://www.timesofisrael.com/hamas-rounds-up-15-suspected-collaborators/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  16. No because it's nonsense and irrelevant. What the f**k are you talking about? In what way is it smart arse to say there is no apartheid in Israel? There is no apartheid in Israel. It is a fact. I agree with you that there could be apartheid in future, especially if there was a single state. There can be no one-state solution where Israel is both Jewish and democratic. But the fact remains that there is no apartheid currently. No amount of wailing and lies will change that. The only way it will change is if Israel actually implements it. If that were to happen then I would condemn it like anyone else because I wouldn't support an apartheid country.
  17. Ok then for the 70th time can you please tell me how Israel is an apartheid country. Been asked and avoided many times so far. What makes you think I support Israel? Where have I said that? I am a zionist and support Israel's right to exist. That's it. The fact is this thread isn't about what is actually happening in Israel and Palestine it's about moronic bigots like yourself trying to peddle a bunch of lies to convince people that your racist ideology is correct. There's been a ceasefire since last night and not one anti-Israel supporter - who are apparently only concerned for human loss of life - has yet to post it to this thread. At the start of the conflict all the terrorist apologists were defending Hamas' rejection of ceasefires by saying they hadn't been consulted. If you really cared about the people of Palestine you would want a ceasefire. You wouldn't defend anyone who started a conflict, rejected a ceasefire and caused the deaths of over 2,000 people. The simple fact is most of the frequent anti-Israel posters on here have shown they don't give a f**k about Palestinians. They are much more obsessed with Israel and the Jews.
  18. Which bigoted government policies? If your problem with Israel is what happened 70 years ago then do you hate Britain for killing hundreds of thousands of German civilians during WW2? America for doing the same to Japan? Japan for doing it in China? America and South Africa for racially segregating blacks? Britain for oppressing Irish and Catholics? Australia for trying to breed out aborigines? Pakistan and Bangladesh for being Muslim breakaway countries from India? Liberia for being colonised by Americans? Cambodia, Rwanda, Serbia and Iraq for perpetrating genocides only a few decades ago? That's just to name a few. I'm sure there are very few countries that haven't in some way murdered or oppressed people in the past 70 years. Or is it just Israel?
  19. So are you "against civilians being murdered for religious bigoted reasons" (like you said earlier) or are you against Israel? It seems like the latter rather than the former.
  20. What has Northern Ireland got to do with this thread? What has the British army got to do with it? It's so bizarre how anti-Israel people constantly bring up irrelevant situations rather than actually talk about the country they are against. Nazis, Apartheid, Northern Ireland, Bathai, Ainu and East Stirling have all been used as analogies in this thread and are all completely irrelevant to this thread. So your problem is with Hamas then? Who want to murder people for being Jewish. Still waiting on your evidence of apartheid btw.
