    Very good point GordonD. I'm not sure if he really needs a walking stick though. He was able to run off with his boxers round his ankles, that's a skill I've never been able to master.

    haha Saints I give up! Anyway I think Klaasen played really well and that Taylor was very loose, it was really nice to see him lose.

    I absolutely love watching Taylor -loose. I hate the bloke. I dont want him to retire though, I just want to see him loose more often. Two fantastic performances from RvB & Klaason have thrown it wide open. I'm surprised Anderson is such a short price 9/4, just about anyone can win it. The way Klaason is playing he will be tough to beat - my tip would be either him or Lewis

    I thought De zwaan played great he was unlucky not to win. Superb natural throwing action. He also spoke well in the interview at the end, he seemed just happy he had played well and given Smith a good game.

    Agree also . I've always hated Taylor. I actually quite liked MVG when he first came onto the scene but all those stupid facial expressions after ever 100+ score .. A real pity he didn't get dumped out, that could well be the closest game he has this tournament.

    BDO I've not liked Adams since the 2007 final when he failed to give Phill Nixon any credit for coming back from 6-0 to 6-6 before Adams limped home 6-7. i was disappointed Durrant lost last night, personally I think he has been the best player this week.     I love the darts thread - its always so refreshing to see just how many other people hate that w*nker Taylor. Having said that Taylor has been involved in some of my favourite darting moments.Such as when Michael Smith beat him in this years world championships, and the classic time when Peter Manley insisted on signing the board when he beat that little fat tw*t in the premier league

    For the first time ever i'm really enjoying watching Phil Taylor - he's had some cracking matches in the last few months: my favourite - v Michael Smith [World Championships] -that one will never be surpassed with Smith's bull finish on 128 to win the match. 2nd v Van Gerwen [Premier League] 3rd v Aden Kirk [uK Open] 4th v Peter Wright [Premier League] 5th v Gary Anderson [Premier League]

    Unbelievable performance from Smith to win on the bull in the deciding set -it really doesn't get any better than that! What a complete tool Taylor is -refusing to do an interview. One thing that would have topped it all is if Smith had signed the board. Hope he wins it he deserves it after that.
