It' the manager who is distastful talking about injuries not the club. However, it actually shows he has little experience at man management and even less integrity.

I just find it distasteful that injuries are used as an excuse to get rid of 2 players who did their best for the club. Just say they are freed you don't have to lessen their chances of another club by brandishing them crocks

I think the addition of someone with experience would benefit the manager. He tries to play a football system that's beyond the capabilities of the players he had. So much so that nobody, fans included have any idea of what's supposed to happen. It is obvious that quite a few players don't want to play for the manager and I'm sure Duggan,Dunsmore,Page,,Lamont Kane will follow Wilkie and Goodfellow out the door.
