I ran Mad for a while around 8 years ago, and while it had it's issues, it was a busy site. Unfortunately it hasn't kept up with the times, and there seems to be no real desire to upgrade or move to a new format. The stubbornness of Footymad to persevere with their old and failing system will ultimately be their downfall. That said, a lot of the posters that remain, are kinda c*nts. StandFreeEd's tone when dealing with queries/complaints doesn't help either. He's alienated quite a section of his user base by being a sarcastic c*nt. Footymad would do well to spend some time on here, for an example of how to run a modern, successful forum.

The way European football is set up in general is shite. League winners of every european top flight should go straight in to Champions league. Then worry about 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc in Guff leagues/Spain/Germany etc. Allowing the winners of smaller countries leagues into the CL would encourage massive growth. Finishing 2nd in the SPL then having to navigate 4 rounds just to get to the group stage of the Europa league is an absolute farce. European football isn't that hard to fix, but people are too greedy for it to ever happen.

If we play anything like Thursday, we're f*cked. Hopefully McInnes has realised Hayes isn't a right winger. Since i started my with my own issues, i find that time is something i just don't have enough of. I get up (usually after absolutely no sleep), go to work, come home and go to bed. It's a seemingly neverending cycle. Time is definitely the most precious commodity in the world.

Dunno where to start here... I'm 22, and my health has been failing for the last year or so. Was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in November 2013 and ended up bedbound for a couple months as a result. Managed to get up and get myself back to work in February, even got to the stage where i was able to play 5-a-side with my work's team. In late February, while playing 5-a-side, i apparently skinned someone and got fouled, and as i got up i was punched from behind and knocked unconscious. To this day, i still have no recollection of that night at all. All i remember is waking up in hospital the next day! Since then, i've had constant severe headaches, and with anyone being unable to determine the cause, i've been stuck on various painkillers (Pregabalin, Co-Codamol. Tramadol, etc) masking whatever is wrong. I've not been able to return to 11-a-side football, but have since returned to work. Unfortunately, i was getting bullied by my line manager, to the extent that he broke me. I burst into tears in the office in front of everyone, after working 36 out of the previous 48 hours and him subsequently giving me bollocking after bollocking. Luckily. the company owner took my side, and moved me to another department that i've been enjoying a lot more! What i don't understand, is why i'm not happy. I'm never happy anymore, and it's completely unlike me. I look in the mirror, and i don't see the same person looking back anymore. All i see is an empty shell. My GP has been good to me so far, probably because he sits beside me at the football, but i find it really hard to open up to people, and often lie about how bad things really are. I've been on Mirtrazapine for the last couple weeks, after previously using amitryptyline and sertraline. Nothing has changed, other than feeling hungover all the time! Every day i have to convince myself to not deliberately crash my car at high speed, usually thinking about the effect it would have on other people puts me off, but that's about it. I have everything i could ever want, and i'm completely fucking miserable. I don't know if any of the above makes sense, if not i apologise, but ahh well. f**k it. I hope to get involved in this "group", i think talking about things could really help. Cheers
