Recently with a couple of smaller clubs down in England HMRC have actually went to court to stop Newco's from using a similar name if they are owed money, if they are consistent with their approach you would expect them to do the same in this case but somehow I doubt it.
Interesting.
I would expect them to be consistent. It is what Tax Inspectors are VERY good at.
Based on this information, what should the newco be called?

Airdrie Utd and Airdrieoneans sound pretty similar to me so why not I suppose?
Edit: Athough I suppose Airdrieoneans didn't turn into Airdrie Utd.
Who know's, but as Airdrie United play in Airdrie I suppose the new name makes perfect sense.
Re-using "Rangers" in newco would seem a bit naughty to me.

How much alteration on the name Glasgow Rangers will they legally get away with ? Complete name change ideally

I think they are officially "Rangers Football Club"
Can they just alter to say "Glasgow Rangers Football Club", or do they have to distance themselves further from the old brand?

Read KILLING FLOOR by Lee Child last week, and though it was quite fun it isn't a patch on the aforementioned 3 books. Entertaining in the same way an Arnie film from the mid-1990s is!
Jack Reacher is comfort reading. I've read them all. There's not much point remembering their title names because they are all the same. He wanders into a new town, some random incident puts him in conflict with the local bullies/ criminal gang/ cult/ Dr Evil and he then proceeds to beat the f**k out of the lot of them.
Basically an Eastwood western for the 21st century and in book form.

Went to see the new Burke and Hare film.
It's alright, pretty funny in some parts. Nothing special. Isla Fisher's in it, so that always gets a bonus point out of me.
6/10.
I'd give it 7/10.
By modern standards I thought it was quite good. No gimmicky editing or hand held cameras. Bliss.
The sets, direction and acting were as expected superb, except perhaps Isla Fisher. Nice tits, shame about the accent.
