I don't think Ronald is a striker. If Prunty or Lister are out we could use Ronald or Lamont on the wings and play MacDougall up front. If Prunty and Lister are both out I think we should play big Shay up top.

Chapman is gone yes. Have we signed Winters? I didn't think McCusker looked too bad, just didn't look match sharp. I'm still not sold on Winters but Murray obviously sees more of the pair of them than me. Whilst Murray has made small changes where possible I feel it's only fair to judge him properly when he has the chance to build his own team in the summer. I just hope the decisions he's making just now pay off and keep us in this league.

I'm a bit surprised that Pars fans aren't interested in going down the Clydebank route. Surely you now have the great chance to form a fan owned club that can build itself up and you wouldn't have to worry about arseholes like Masterton putting you in positions like this. Surely playing in the non-leagues until either a spot opens up or a pyramid is formed is better than having no team at all? Why do you believe this isn't possible for Pars when teams with a lesser fan base have done so? Stop feeling sorry for yourselves a build a club you can be proud of.

I don't feel we should just be adding players for the sake of adding more players. I'd rather see our youth team utilised than signing players such as Ronald signed just to fill a jersey. Our strikers also must feel a bit shite after seeing Murray get Winters and apparently trying to get Riordan in to "help out" when that area is probably the area we are most covered in. Prunty, Lister, Fleming, McCusker and MacDougall can all play there and I feel adding more players to that area (especially a knob like Riordan who could upset folk in the dressing room) says a lot about what Murray thinks of his current crop.

I worry about the effect all this could have on our existing players morale.

I never put my name down for those buses as I won't be in the country but I must say, I would've got the train to Partick. When you only need to get a train to Glasgow and you have much more flexibility with times paying the extra quid for the train doesn't really come into it. I would have been at the quiz if I was here as well but the quiz has always done quite well in the past so maybe it's just a sign that folk are cutting back on things like this? Poor from the fans? I'm not so sure, the core support will always be there and put money towards the club when they can. It's not our fault that the folk who only show up when we've got a "big" game don't come more often or help out by attending fundraisers.

Has this stopped the strike action then? I'd probably be even more inclined to strike now knowing that he's holding back money if I was a player.

Personally think that Brian should be black carding Jeffries here, that statement is bound to be damaging to the clubs public image.

More forward players though? I'm not saying Phinn won't be useful but we've got a gaping Andy Graham sized hole in our defence for the next 5 weeks that needs addressed.

Owen Ronald (son of Paul) has signed until the end of the season. Strange that Murray felt the need to sign a striker but obviously feels he will be useful to us. In other, more depressing news, Andy Graham is out for 5 weeks. Not good at all but Murray states he's still looking to add to the squad before Saturday.

The exodus continues! To be fair it was either going to be Forsyth or Creaney that went, there's no need for us to have 3 left backs. He must have players coming in though, I don't see the need to get players out if there is no one coming in.

Will be watching a few of these at some point in the next week or so (I've had a few people mention Dear Zachary to me so think that will be the first) but I watched one called Before the Music Dies the other day which I thoroughly enjoyed. Insight into pop music these days and how talentless a lot of them really are, won't say too much but it does show a the industry to be in quite a sorry state.

It didn't really tell me anything we didn't already know. All talk about money though and the only thing mentioned about football was "more meaningful games will be created" which has absolutely no evidence to suggest that will be the case. Austria, Switzerland and Georgia have all tried this system and each time the number of fans showing up at games has decreased by around 30%. I appreciate the club having the meeting but I feel at this stage there is too many question marks over the whole thing. Gilbert suggested that it would be one club, one vote but Jardine seemed to think that it will be staggered votes (i.e. 3 votes SPL, 2 votes Championship etc.) which is the biggest issue for me. If we go for this but give them the staggered voting structure it'll be all over for me. As soon as this system goes tits up they will have the power to change it whatever way they like and it'll be away tae f**k with all the diddy teams. The nonsense about "changing the game for the greater good if we are united" is fucking cringeworthy as well.
