Almost every Chinese takeaway down this way only takes cash. Or they'll maybe let you pay card in-store where the machine is connected to some dodgy Chinese company.My Chinese takeaway has been taking card for ages. In fact most takeaways I use up here allow you to pay by card.0 -

I can't be the only one who thinks spending £30k on 4 months worth of wipes is a bit of a waste of money, considering the pupils have no requirement to social distance outwith the classroom (and then immediately wash their hands anyway). It's a thing for the sake of being seen to be doing a thing.
There are surely far better things that schools can spend £30k a term on.1 -

Highers are only for getting into uni anyway. Most people will be getting into the uni course they thought they would by the end of this. Anyone worrying about how employers will view their highers are havering [emoji23]. Never had any employer check my school qualifications, they don't give a f**k.

Nothing wrong with car camping. It's the dirty b*****ds that don't know how to put their shit in a black bag and fling it in the boot that are the problem. Cnuts to man. In 20 years we'll be lucky to be able to camp anywhere without a permit.

Just bought and tried out my new tent. A Vango torridon 300. Beast of a tent, wind barely affects it and it's one the warmest tents I've slept in. Also if your into backpacking 3.5kg split between 2 or 3 people isn't too much of a struggle. I managed to get it for £140 which is an absolute steal.

The first debate was roughly a draw then Salmond hammered him the 2nd one.In some ways that's true, but his live TV debate with Alistair Darling was an utter car-crash which should haunt him, and all of us that want independence, for years. The great debater had his arse handed to him, and that allowed Darling to get on the front foot with his 'Plan B' nonsense which the Yes campaign could not shake.
Salmond did so many good things, but that was a disaster.0 -
