How's Cruyff ? Worth spunking the guts of 2 mill on ?
  3. No, it would have probably stopped at the coast which was why the Western allies were so eager to open up a 2nd front in the end.
  4. And what exactly are you disputing ? That the US and the UK didn't get any geo political or monetary advantages by conquering Berlin ? Ok then. The EU wouldn't have happened if Russia was left to carve up Germany itself.
  5. To the US and Britain making sure France and Belgium become France and Belgium again is a Win.
  6. That's fair enough all I'm saying is if D-Day had not happened the Red Army would have still made it to Berlin. Literally nothing would have stopped them at that point. They had already sacrificed too much.
  7. And became less so the more the Germans were getting pumped elsewhere. If Germany hadnt made all it's mistakes when it attacked Russia and smashed through to Moscow and conquered it and it's oil fields how big of a D-Day would the allies have needed then ? Now that would have been impossible.
  8. They waited until the Russians had pretty much done the job so yes you're right. Good timing.
  9. I'm specifically taking about D-Day here and the motivations surrounding it. Germanys losses on the Western front in terms of resources, manpower and morale was child's play compared to the years on the Eastern front.
  10. Look I give Britain more credit than the US for winning the war. They held on and harassed the Germans enough to allow Stalin and Russia to hold off the initial surge and start to get their war economy in gear. Once the Russians sorted their shit out and learned to do the German game of coordinated air, artillery and then armoured and infantry attacks the Germans were gubbed. Britain couldnt have completed D-Day without the US and vice versa but Hitler's war had already been lost.
  11. Try again. You ask for a spoil of war for say Belgium. My answer would be Belgium because if the allies had turned up a year late to the party maybe Stalin would have kept them as well. And is if one of the richest and most industrialised areas in Europe not falling into Stalins hands isn't a spoil of war brought about by the UK and the US deciding, onelce the war had been won, we need to get in there in boys. You have to bear in mind Stalin had been begging for ages for them to open up a 2nd front whilst millions of Russian bodies were piling up so you tell me what would have happened if the Western powers had decided to turn up a a year and a half later to the party.
  12. Making sure Germany's industrial heartland and one of the largest coal seams in Europe didn't fall into Russian hands would be one of many.
  13. The last part was exactly my point. D-Day for Churchill and other leaders was about being in Berlin the same time as the Russians not about winning the war. The war had been lost, Russian was on a complete war footing churning out unbelievable numbers of everything whilst Germany had lost much of its best units and officers in Russia and was severely depleted in resources all over the place. Germany concentrating all its resources in the East would only have delayed the inevitable.
  14. Not as much as the ones that won the war clearly [emoji23]. Are you trying to say repatriations weren't worked out ? Massive companies in Germanys Rhur valley split up between certain countries etc ? Russia gaining territories all over the shot including Prussia, everything West of Berlin and parts of Finland never happened ?
  15. I just love how D-day is portrayed as decisive in the allies winning the war. It literally made no difference. Was only decisive in ensuring that the US and Britain got a share of the spoils. Germanys war had already been lost all the while the Russians were churning out tanks and aircraft at a terrifying rate. Hitler underestimated the Russians. He thought they were inferior and had no idea of their industrial capacity and sheer determination to defend their country at all costs. Russian grit and a f**k ton of factories in Siberia won world war 2.
  16. Germany would have never declared war on the US if they thought the US would remain neutral. Fact is Hitler knew which way the wind was blowing so made no difference. Britain being an island and Germany discovering that the Soviets seemed to have had unlimited resources in manpower was what what won the war. The Americans just got in at the end when the damage had been done. Christ even if a second front wasn't created in Normandy the Russians would have still blootered them all the way the Berlin and beyond which leads on to one of the main reasons Churchill and the Yanks wanted a second front. To prevent post war Russian dominance of mainland Europe.

Anyone noticed the 3-5-2 glitch ? I play Roberto Carlos as a LM and he plays as a CDM the whole game. Cheating basically.

Anyone tried baby Cruyff ? Either going to spend my 2 mill on one attacker or spread it around a bit. Not sure.

I thought he was pretty shite. You're better off just getting Kante and having GMS 7 chem or whatevr rather than waste 180k on him imo.

There isn't one at that price. Baby Blanc is an absolute beast but he'll still be about 500k.
