Thought this was worth a bump due to the news this week on the Sports Direct shareprice dropping and the company admitting that they blundered with the House of Fraser acquisition.
I see today that their auditing company has quit over the tax issue which, both the issue and the resignation, seems a bit suspicious to me. I think they could be in a fair bit of financial trouble.
Also think its a good, if a bit desperate, shout from Mike Ashley about drug-testing of top executives and solicitors across the City to help snare those who are potentially not evoking the best business practices as a result of their personal issues.
Anyone affected by the Sports Direct issues?

I remember how excited we all were when this fixture was announced.
Simpler times.

It would appear that the deal to bring in Moise Kean is dead..................

Albon looks to be quite lucky getting away without a penalty after moving across on Gasly.
I’m not sure about that. Albon didn’t make any really sudden move he just drifted across to the centre of the track. There was certainly room and time for Gasly to react and move across or backout and go again.
I made this point on twitter yesterday - whilst Gasly isn’t doing well it’s worth remembering that he is currently 6th in the standings which is exactly where you would expect him to be.

Well done to you. What an amazing man.

I’m only in this thread lads because I’ve woken up from a sleep where I dreamt that Celtic fans were raging in a nightclub because their cup run was just ended by a last min Dundee Utd goal scored by “that wee c**t Paul Paton”.
I thought I should check who Celtic actually played as a result and was disappointed to find it was you lot......but now I read that Paton actually is plays for you (thought he was at Falkirk).
Put thousands on it.

I’m worried about the juggernaut this year to be honest.

Which entity is going to die first , Sevco or SD ?
Will Ashley unleash the hounds to try and get his dosh pronto ?
Will the Glib and Shameless Liar try and kick the can further down the road, incurring more legal fees as he does so ?
How will Jabba and the Lickspittles spin this to RaBerrz ?
“Strange times, Archie, strange times.........”Despite the chance of more laughing at Sevco thanks to Uncle Mike I doubt that many people will be too upset to hear the Sports Direct empire appears to be having trouble. It would seem they have followed the same route as many businesses (from the local shop to large multinational companies) of trying to expand very quickly in a short space of time and getting it wrong.

Are one of you cuntos going to start a match thread?
I'd do it myself but an away team starting a thread is the etiquette equivalent of licking your knife during dinner.
Our club don’t appear to be too fussed with the match (or the season) at the moment Kinc so it’s no surprise we aren’t bothered.
I can’t believe how much of a f**k-up this summer appears to have been from the club although I will be reasonably fair to the club and say that one game has totally changed everyone’s perspective. If we had got through (any way at all) against the Welsh mob we’d probably be quite happy to be sitting with few signings/plans for the season at this stage. There was a bit of an outcry when we didn’t sign anyone early last year too although of course SSC had built enough goodwill by that the vast majority were able to be patient.
Good news of course if that the club still exists unlike a few others who have came and gone in Scottish football.

Edit : I'd read it last night. Disappointed to see it all gone today. If you're man enough to throw around threats when your pished you should be man enough to deal with the fall out sober.
It was still there when I posted this. Can only assume the guy has got to work and been told to wisen up.

Are they still considering adding water to tracks to increase excitement?
I know there's a danger element but f**k me it's miles more exciting.I wouldn’t be a fan of that.

Also did anyone spot the crowd cheering Hamilton’s first off whilst Le Clerc walked away. They gave a massive cheer and Le Clerc waved thinking it was for him.

Wow.
After the disaster of France the last 3 races, at real race tracks, have been class.

If that’s the case, then why not just come back to saints and ask if the deal can still go ahead as planned. May clearly wants to join and saints want him, taking the presuming hurdle out the way should solve it.I'd imagine there are some kind of rules built into contracts to stop players doing this otherwise a player could get an agent to negotiate a deal on his behalf and then simply sack him before signing the deal and pocket the agent fee on top of his own signing on fee.

Lafferty and Brophy would be a good combination in my opinion.
