  1. He couldn't play for Ross County for several weeks due to some red tape from having played in Iran, then I am sure he picked up a serious injury on return.

I think he is just coming back to full fitness and scored for their development side midweek.

Total change of a subject if we were to look to bring in a loan player and 99% fans have said from day 1 the area we should look to add is in the striking department what about trying to bring in an ex-player who was on loan to us in the past in Lee Irwin?

He is signed for Ross County but does not get a game, he is still young, big at 6 foot 2" plus he had a bit of pace and sure he scored 6 or 8 goals in in something like 11 games for us in 2013.

I am a massive Doris fan but i think he needs to be playing every week like McCord  did to keep match fit and the weight off, big Donnelly is doing well but is not a striker and Spence who i had high hopes for is off form and struggling to get a game, you can play McKenna up there but he is a number 10 for me.

    Worth a shout imo.

    C'Mon the Red Lichties 36-0.

  2. I was wondering if someone with a statto like mind could help me?

Have Arbroath and Dundee only played one another once competitively since 1979? Which would have been 8 years ago?

    Saturday 23rd July 2011 - 1st Round Ramsden Cup - 2011/2012 Season

    Arbroath 1 - 2 Dundee (AET)

    Elfverson 77 - Dundee - Milne 79, O’Donnell 91

We also played a pre-season friendly on 8th July 2017 - in a 2-1 win for Dundee - 17th min pen by Doris, El Bakhtoui 81, and Wolters 84th min sealed the win.

Then we also played in a friendly at Gayfield on Tuesday 10th January 2017 - Goals by Haber and Wighton sealed a friendly win.

  3. I took this photograph.  The truth is I didn't even notice he was doing what he was doing when I posted.

I was embarrassed after seeing it on here I deleted the image of my flickr account, as Hammy is a top, top bloke and would do anything for anyone.

It was well after the full time whistle as the Arbroath players went over to the Arbroath fans and I presume Hammy had friends or family in the crowd as he lives not a million miles away, also a few other players came over to talk to their families.  It was in the far corner of the ground where only the Arbroath fans were situated, far away from any Alloa supporters.

I'm sure all opposition fans of how players perform at their club, but with over 200 appearances for Arbroath and two league winners medals he is an Arbroath legend.

Anyone who was at the meeting last night with Ian Campbell knows just what Hammy's character is like, and makes his performance on Saturday even more remarkable.
