I wouldn't read too much into the amount of signings. I think when you look at all the other clubs in the division, we had one of the smallest amount of players departing due to the quality we already have and on longer deals, for example where as Airdrie may have brought in 11 players, they let go of 12.
Dick and Pick after quality. We have a strong squad of 17
Departures (including loans)
Airdrieonians - 12
Arbroath - 6
Brechin City - 13
Dumbarton - 21
East Fife - 15
Forfar Athletic - 10
Montrose - 7
Raith Rovers - 14
Stenhousemuir - 12
Stranraer - 13

He was sent off last season against Dunfermline, so he will probably be suspended.

He is only training to keep in shape and Blair, like a few of the squad are still away on their summer holidays.

Hello,
Sorry for jumping into your thread, but I did see the pitch narrowing story and thought it was interesting as the Lichties maybe the first club to experience it in the Betfred Cup.
When you did it before were you playing without wingers? Did you see a vast change in how you set up your team from before and after?
It's an interesting test / theory and will keep an eye on how it works out for you.
Although isn't the pitch at Glebe Park one of the narrowest in Scotland? That didn't help Brechin.

You can tell there is no football and the sun has been out as some people are clearly feeling the effects of sunstroke!
He sat next to Steven Doris and Martin 'Jimmy' Scott who was up supporting the Lichties.
11 hours ago, Mexico said:He stormed out of the Dumbarton home playoff when he got told Hester was on the bench and he wasn’t apparently

Simon, if all these long postings are just a secret ploy to launch your "Tap Boi Football Agency" with your two new clients, then you are well on your way as you able to
waffle on for paragraphs, prolong paragraphs which all legal contracts are full of!Your 10% will be well earned!

A "fan" goes to Gayfield and cheers on his team.
A "fan(ny)" goes to a friend's wedding and turns his back on his beloved Lichties! (for the first time in 10 years)
Hope you had a good day!
I hope you didn't wear shorts or a Hawaiian Shirt to the wedding!

I thought that was our best 45 minutes since the comeback against Elgin City when we were 2-0 down. Playing our 2nd full time team in 3 days and playing an hour with 10 men I thought the intensity and performances were of the highest quality. Doris was again a constant menace to a towering defence, and I thought Swankie played really well in midfield for the second half. Blair Yule was immense all over the park but Thomas O'Brien was outstanding, and Prunty's passion is what all fans want to see in their players.

It was the Arbroath physio who treated Ricky, and Alloa's treated their player that went down. Thomas and Ricky signalled the severity of it and the Alloa Doctor came on.
Ewen is a fitness coach and sports scientist and there are very few people in Scotland with his qualifications and education and we were very lucky to have him. He got a deserved full time move to England in February.
The same warm up routines by coaches with years and years of experience won us the league.
Find me a Sunday Pub team that did that.........

90% sure Pongo's partner/wife/gf is a teacher so maybe that is the only time they can go on holiday together.
Looking forward to the season starting. The World Cup is great entertainment but it's not quite the same hurt or pleasure you experience following the Lichties.
http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/team/first - Hearts have got a pretty good squad so should be a real early test.
