  1. I really didn't like Django at all. It just did absolutely nothing for me. The ridiculous way that "nigger" was shoe-horned into almost every single sentence was tedious too.

I cant understand how you cant like it tbh, Tarantinos best film for years.

The time its set in and the subject matter meant "nigger" would be used a lot.

Great film, great characters, great humour, great soundtrack.

  2. I read somewhere that Farage has been on Question Time more than any other guest apart from Vince Cable. Mind you, that article is quite old and he's probably far exceeded Cable by now!

It just seems like the BBC want to stir things up a bit. Whilst I quite like Farage, even I can accept that he really isn't all that relevant to Scotland at all.

Yeah the BBC in its quest for ratings is courting controversy.

I can understand why people like him, especially compared to other politicians.

But when you scratch the surface, his party is full of the crackpots the Torys wouldn't even want, I've yet to see a credible policy put forward by them, imo they are a consequence of the financial crisis and Cameron moving the Torys away from the right to get elected.

It is quite amusing though, watching the Torys bricking it from ukip, it could get interesting further down the line.

  3. Ruth Davidson has announced on her Twitter account that Nigel Farage has been added as a late addition to the panel tomorrow night. This'll be interesting!

How many times has that c**t been on recently?

No ones interested in his backward little party in Scotland.

  4. Anyone who believes the story of Noah and the ark needs sectioned for the good of society.

    Aye, for the best really

I've played football with the guy a few times and I thought he seemed like a smart guy, then he added me on Facebook and I saw his ramblings about how atheists are the cause of all the evil in the world, naturally I asked him to explain how that was the case.

Needless to say I was met with nonsensical superstitious nonsense, the "word of god" he called it.

  5. I watched the latest adaptation of True Grit the other night a couple of weeks after having seen the John Wayne version. I really liked it on the whole. It felt like a much more mature and realistic approach to the story than the previous adaptation.

As much as it pains me to admit it, as I love Jeff Bridges and I normally can't stand John Wayne, I do prefer Wayne's performance as Rooster Cogburn. For a large part of this film Bridges take on Cogburn left me feeling cold and it was only towards the end that I began to like that take on the character. The young actress who plays Mattie Ross is outstanding though, I'd heard good things about her performance but even so I was still really impressed by her.

It's another really stunning looking film from Joel and Ethan Cohen.

    8/10.

I loved True Grit, the young actress stole the show imo. Though Bridges and Damon were excellent too.

  6. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molecular_cloud

A molecular cloud, sometimes called a stellar nursery if star formation is occurring within, is a type of interstellar cloud whose density and size permits the formation of molecules, most commonly molecular hydrogen (H2). This is in contrast to other areas of the interstellar medium that contain predominately ionized gas.

Molecular hydrogen is difficult to detect by infrared and radio observations, so the molecule most often used to determine the presence of H2 is CO (carbon monoxide). The ratio between CO luminosity and H2mass is thought to be constant, although there are reasons to doubt this assumption in observations of some other galaxies.[1]

Here's a picture I took of one yesterday:

The Mars rover has it's own twitter feed

 What an age we live in eh.

  7. Got into a discussion with a guy on Facebook, always thought he was a reasonable guy, then he said this....

The definition of marriage is a man and woman before God , therefore anything other is not marriage. So basically you're saying you know Christians who don't believe the bible ? I've read plenty , and watched many documentaries on things such as Noah which have had convincing scientific arguments to suggest how landscapes etc formed and how different species of life got to where they were today. The garden of Eden existed before the flood so its likely no one will ever find where it supposedly was. And the fall of creation-pain/suffering/loss of energy withun the universe since Adam and Eve has been discussed by dealing with the constant entropy seen in the code of pretty much everything in the universe. As with the seven days thing , its still a hot topic that I've not 100% agreed on.

...... Scientific proof for Noah and the ark, gave me a good laugh indeed thought I'd share it

  8. i don't understand what is happening when walt acts hard. he doesn't have much back up and even people who are hard as f**k don't handle getting shot very well so all the super villain stuff seems a bit ridiculous.

It's an act, he can't show weakness. The position he's in if he was to be perceived as weak some meth head would take him out.
  9. The best scene in the entire run for me. It's the moment where it confirms he's a bad b*****d. Even more so than the famous 'say my name' scene after he offs Gus.

I've rooted for him since day one as despite the despicable shit he's done, I've kind of understood his motives. After he offed Mike though, it changed for me.

I don't know how it will end, but with both Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston on record saying there is a part of them which would love to return to Walt a few years down the line *if* he does survive, I can see Hank somehow giving him a route out.

Aye, killing Mike needlessly done it for me. Mike was one of the best characters imo
  10. "This is what winning looks like" was amazing, you'll get it on the Vice channel on YouTube. It's essentially about the Afghan National Army and their unbelievable incompetence. I also really enjoyed "Crack House". Police in America hooked up a rundown crack house with hidden cameras all over it, very entertaining.
