i am quite happy when a poster says the Juniors are dead or spells Juniors as Joonyurs because it automatically outs them as a c**t and their opinions can safely be filed in the bin

We’ll see how long it lasts.

Most clubs are only hanging about in the hope that the SJFA gets dissolved and they can get some cash 🤣

Still playing in the Joonyur Cup emoji1751.png

    And your point is?

    It’s dead,just let it go.

No East teams except Tayside, crappy North Juniors. No Darvel,Kilwinning or Clydebank.

if Talbot get promoted the LL won’t  set aside Saturdays for you to play in it.

There will be an all in non league trophy but it won’t be the Joonyur Cup.

None scheduled so far. I think that's a good thing as the schedule has been non-stop and going back to just games on a Saturday eases the burden a bit
Also gives the supporters pockets a rest as all these games are expensive especially if you are travelling

Aye maybe once the cup games kick in we could play some league games midweek instead of having alot of games in hand come end of season

Still playing in the Joonyur Cup 🤦

The preliminary round draw will be made on the glorious 12th (Thursday) - the SFA website's news article 'fixture dates confirmed' has been edited today to include that.

Doesn't yet say what time / how to watch a stream.

It’s at 1pm and is being streamed live.

It seems an unfortunate by-product of the cup expanding to more entrants (overall:  progress) that some of the true dream ties seem Golspie or Saint Cuthbert's or Wigtown are more likely than ever to get papped out long before the SPFL sides enter. Hopefully at least one of them can make a run, but a Scottish Cup that is stacked with Central Belt non-league diddies is not the box-office event Scottish football deserves.

Central belt SPFL  diddies like Morton are hardly box office.

Hahaha aye kirk is loud but coming far talbot thats laughable. i hate the talbot gang mentality when use get fouled 4 of 5 players hassle the ref for a card. Shankland does this loads.

    Mon the papers

I don't think Clydebank can talk about any teams gang mentality...

I dint think we’ve ever been described as a gang by anyone!

I thought Shankland was the ref?

A grimly odd pic from Boghead which I'm sure Bankies fans won't look back on with much affection; I think it was a 'home' match with ICT:-

That was when Ian McColl demanded that we weren’t allowed near the dugouts which as you know were in front of the stand and had an enclosure behind them.

    Horrible days ☹️

My brother, Max Clarke. He plays for the 20s but has been sub keeper a few times in the last few weeks. Came on late against St Peter's a few weeks back.

The other 20s GK Jamie Stevenson was playing last night so good chance Max will be on the bench.

For those of you watching on the stream, it will be myself and Paddy once again today. Chris is having to self-isolate.

Younger Jan is also set to be on the bench for the Bankies. Or at least he was when I spoke to him yesterday. So if he ends up coming on at any point then that will be a bit surreal.

    Who is young Jan?

Am I correct that the last competitive meeting of the clubs was a 2-0 League Cup win for Sons at the Rock on the evening of the 9/11 attack in NYC ?

A shell of a club by that time, playing out of Cappielow still owned by Hall and being run by a football agent!

    Thank god for fan ownership.
