Ive seen him at many clubs and the only time he looked effective was his first stint at Motherwell. Since then he's been a journeyman who hasnt really showed consistency IMO and i think its because he has lost motivation.Cant see coming to Sons changing that TBH.I stand to be corrected of course.

It seems to be the commom sentiment that our defence and midfield are solid enough but the problem is upfront.Also the style of play of launching long balls is synonymous with our bad spell from last season.I really think if we play on the deck as we can we will get results.A good striker is needed though.I would take Oli Shaw in a heartbeat, but if that does happen i can see Prior and maybe Wilson going out on loan to free up some cash.We are top heavy in midfield.

Agree with this.Especially re SA.However there is clearly no doubt in his mind these fixtures are friendlies and treats them as such much to the irritation of the fans.Given the limited squad he has to make the league games the priority.As mentioned previously by SO8 trialists ought to be allowed to play in these early rounds for the benefit of the majority of the teams.Roll on the 'Ton game and lets hope we are near full strength for it.

It seems to be a growing consensus on here that most fans are unhappy at the pricing , particularly this season, of season tickets and pay at the gate.It is understandable but i believe that what most angers supporters is the apparent lack of consultation and what some on here , rightly or wrongly , perceive as an air of aloofness by those running the club.The counter arguements as to why the prices are what they are may also be convincing and indeed valid but the status quo is that an increasing number of fans are disgruntled.The club can ill afford to alienate supporters and its something i think needs addressing even if it is just to clear the air.

Yep it is indeed but i guess Stevie can only bring in one more player so i suppose he has to be 100 percent that whoever comes in can do a really good job.My bet is a loan player probably after the LC fixtures.

I dont want to get ahead of the game here but reading Stevie's body language he seemed a little upset during the interview despite a decent performance and result.I can only assume he is a little worried regarding given the injuries so early in the season to SC,DS and GG.I certainly dont think he would want to rush any of them back which means we potentially have a numbers problem vs AYR.Can trialists play in the LC?I dont think that they can.So what options are left?emergency loans?? PS Stunning strike from Prince and a great piece of opportunism from JA.

It seems Nade has had a short but fruitful preseason..is a key player no doubt.What ive heard of Jordan Allan makes me think he might be worth a short term contract at least.Need to stay injury free given the light squad we have and i really hope we can sort out a couple of defenders prior to the Ayr game. PS Moonster hope our future star gets uncrippled soon.
