  1. All Talbots will be away from home due to the pitch works
  2. Agree, more so the fact they are selling like hot cakes pardon the pun
  3. if the cumnock badge was used on anything you'd be the first one greeting on facebook about it
  4. See Brownings are making Talbot biscuits, small part/crumb of the forth coming darvel dominance??
  5. You'll find some clubs, well one club's players are watched closer and held to account more than the rest more so surrounding g big games.
  6. If you go through every junior players tweets you'll get all sorts. One newspaper even just copies pastes posts from social media such is the times but we move on. Shankers is a tongue in cheek type guy and as amusing as it was Iceland got involved from someones choice of delivery method, that's the end of it. As to criticising the statement I think it's perfectly clear and takes the clubs responsibility in matters into account as well. It's not surprising as Talbot may as well be some folks full time jobs the amount of work put in, that has been the scaffold to such a sucessful season. Sure everyone will get it right next time around and icelandgate will be just one of many laughs to be had at the end of season do.
  7. What do the players think of the statement? No idea, probably just want to get on with with celebrating a decent league campaign and working towards the cup final next weekend?
  8. "West Region Premiership – Medal Presentation Following comments from various individuals on the Medal Presentation after receiving the Premiership Trophy at our Match versus Pollok last Wednesday evening, the club consider that in the best interest of all parties we clarify a few points and hopefully put an end to this matter. The Club were informed by West region Secretary Scott Robertson prior to the game that we would be presented with the Premiership Trophy, and that he would bring the winners medals along with him for the Club to do as they wish with them. Normally we would present them to our players at our POTY event, however due to circumstances out with our control a date has yet to be fixed for this and with the season drawing to a close we had arranged with our coaching staff to distribute the medals to the players after the game in the Dressing Room, innocently they were handed out on the pitch. Finally, we are sure that lessons have been learned all round, and more importantly it is the Club’s wish that no blame be attached to West Region Secretary Scott Robertson or his committee who have unfortunately come in for unfair criticism."
  9. Flood light fund campaign continues with a new song by John and the hormones, ahead of the final next week
  10. Superb manager with a real passion for the tactical aspect of the game and has the team playing some nice football. Should watch their highlights if you dont already, all the best
  11. Sorry I'm not up todate, Are the west region still aiming for tier 5 entry?
  12. Depends what the fans want and the clubs are happy with I guess. Unfortunately with artificial surfaces is heavy use by several parties and can deteriorate rapidly if not maintained.
  13. I'd imagine they'd have approached a few clubs
  14. One of the biggest upsets live on UK telly.. is it any wonder they didn't reply (if true)? Lol
  15. For me getting to final is an achievement regardless where it's played. However part of the appeal for the clubs and supporters is playing in a professional ground. More of an occasion and a day out. No offence to my pals at pollok but as much as I love a trip there the lack of toilets would be obvious issues as would the lack of parking. I'm sure the folks at the sjfa will sort the best thing possible for the clubs and supporters involved. Not a bigger game in our grade and great exposure on the beeb
