  1. yeah would have expected any cup to falter as the youngsters started getting access to other sporting events and later stages, last 20 and then last ten , youngsters on social media so don't even bother with football. There were still good crowds in the rounds during the 80s and early 90s but definitely have dwindled
  2. This show you how much I'm on your mind cause trust me, you aint on mine It doesn't bother me, when i post replies to guys like you, it actually shows you up real bad and worst for you, you don't even realize it. <<<< doesn't know how to make a "take a bow emoji" I bet he replies so he's not going to bed
  3. The state of this, utter tripe, (again your usual, not explaining what you talking about). You are one of the worst blinkered and not to bright about these problems and I'm not making that personal it's just true with either the crap you come out with which is pointless or just railroading posts The clubs take a chance in the draw and trust me, many are not happy at the money they lose but I know guys like you haven't a clue because you are totally blinkered or your supporting one of the biggest teams with money behind them and always a big crowd and not giving a shit about the other clubs that make up the junior cup.. You are the type that only see one way or put the one way on here and try to put people down who have a different view and I've seen it happen. The SCC is regionalized for the first two rounds because they listened to teams and changed it so hopefully not costing the clubs money on transport unlike all the teams your ignoring who lose some where in the region of £500 / £600 per round in the junior cup, sometimes and yes there are clubs who take the chance but cannot afford it if drawn away. I know one club this season who nearly pulled out of the Junior cup because they didn't haven the funds for the transport and managed to gather in funds 2 days before they travelled so your comment "If clubs lose money then they are evidently ok with that," is wrong and totally way off. Did I say scrape the junior cup, no i did not but dumbshits seem to think I have. I would love nothing more than a big mandatory non national cup involving all clubs from tier 5 down north and south but there is no apatite for it, especially in certain areas. Kenny does the fixtures and is all for the junior cup but he has a job to do as sorting the fixtures but the junior cup is NOT mandatory for the other associations which you all seem to forget. The SFA don't give a shit about the junior cup as in their structure and are happy for it to continue but if the junior cup is going to hinder the top premier league having champions crowned before the play off deadline date then I believe the SFA would step in, (obviously someone in a position can clarify this) As the clubs of the WOSFL voted on continuing the Junior cup so its now part of their curriculum of the WOSFL there were clubs against it in the voting I believe but I'm unsure of the voting numbers for and against so Kenny says its just as important as the rest of the cups but as you can see with no input from me there are a number of clubs unhappy with this. interesting ditto, i don't know, it would be good to find out who voted against the junior cup but decided to play in it. The junior cup has been faltering for past 20 years with crowds dwindling, there is no cup with greater history and community feeling but there s a regional cup, yes a regional cup which is supposed to be smaller than the junior cup but has stronger teams in it and over 50 teams more participating in it and its not well received but is harder to win, both could go with help, different types of help but clubs either take once stance, for one or against the other
  4. I don't feel unfairly put upon, you get cliques and nasty people on these things who will put anyone down at any cost, especially people who stick up for themselves and as i said you and others either back them up or start it, no getting away with it and I've seen it happen to other individuals on here. The problem is, and i include you, the way people act on here, and yes the cliques, they stop new people from joining these threads of participating in them. No its guys sitting behind keyboards making personal attacks, it doesn't bother me but that's the way it is and me, I'm sure of myself and fine and back myself with my views however strong they are. I never give anyone in here a second thought but i know many who do think of me when they try to log on. I genuinely cant think of any other forum that is nastier and I'm just talking about the West of Scotland section. Lot of people say its banter and it never was but that's just to try and deflect. I have no problems with any hassle on me, it means others aint getting it as I can easily handle it
  5. So your telling me how to write now, oh ffs heard it all now. >>>>> tries hard not to add a lololol in a feverish mode No getting away from it, the FACTS are correct and you have ignored them. Only tinfoil helmet is in your mind or wish it was. Its always the same ones who reply and cannot handle the truth and yes, i include you. if someone is giving anyone it tight, I don't believe, (could be mistaken) but i don't jump on the bandwagon and try to put the person down, as you and quite a few other do and the posts are there to see. I don't believe i would stoop that low You addressed the guys points by saying the clubs could get in touch with you, that's not addressing his comments
  6. Clydebank are just running along nicely without making too much noise or fuss, more like under the radar but they look a very strong and a settled team right now
  7. I only seem tense in your mind. You and the rest of your cliques try to say what i thinking, I'm totally chilled, its normally the ones who cant hold back and reply to me or red dot me. Like you, you say i didn't answer your question and then i did but you totally ignored my questions where the facts put you in a corner. When you lay the facts out, the replies are either ignored, or an replied image added or red dot but they don't reply to the facts, when the facts are correct. You even gave the other poster who called you out for using a derby match as an example when the guy showed you other games that costs financial problems for the teams, again you ignored him
  8. See what you are saying, i totally agree with, nothing wrong with that, you've read my last post above and i like to think its objective and honest. The interest in the regional cup is very low but look at the standard of teams representing and the amount of teams and its a new cup, what 10 years or so? and its only changed in the past 2 years to become bigger so it needs help from the governing bodies and teams and fans but this is the same help that the junior cup needs. I will say regarding your financial loss, there's tons of teams having financial losses in the junior cup, quite a few actually so something has to have that looked at, where as the South Challenge cup is actually regionalized so saves money on transport for first couple of rounds
  9. The thing is wee delusional Andy, the clique slag you and give you it tight so unsure if your part of the clique or just a muppet. opps, sorry scratch muppet and I'll put down SHEEP
  10. Now your elaborating, or changing your tune. I've seen some amazing games, fantastic game, great crowds in the league cups, West cup, the evening times cup etc.., does that make it the best, no. You made a statement that is untrue saying its the 'best non league cup in the country. How can it be the best when there is another cup that has over 50 teams more and also stronger teams involved, the muppet stands when your acting like part of the same clique making comments that are not true and you know this ain't true. Even the cliques got together and started their usual crap comments, even some crapbags who just red dotting lolol. If you had said its the best cup with history and tradition, Yeha that would work and I'd probably agree with you but definitely not the best. You ignore a cup that has quality Lowland tier 5 teams involved. You ignore that the cup has 50 more teams participating than the junior cup. You ignore that ever year clubs loose a lot of money participating in the junior cup, again another FACT that is true. Do I say get rid of it, Nope I haven't but its divided as a lot of people do not want anything to do with it. Do clubs promote the other cups like the do the junior, no they don't. I will say that there is No national non league cup, why as a lot of teams from East and north don't want anything to do with the junior cup but also, not demeaning the junior cup because of this, they don't want to participate in a new all in non league cup. The only way I can see this happen is that the SFA make it part of the seasons curriculum, meaning all teams, tier 5 and below, north and south must participate in a new all in non national cup. You say over 40 years and yeah, that was then, it is now and the cup is floundering since the past 20 years the attendances have been dwindling, every now and then a big crowd might pop up for a good quality game but it floundering but no one is trying to do anything about it. How many teams played in the second round or still too play and have paid out about £900 in the transport for players and staff and will only receive at best £250 towards their expenses. I'm not on here to lick anyone's ass or be a sheep and follow and back up other keyboard warriors. I tell it the way I see it and view it and if there's Facts involved I will state them. I ain't blinkered by being a supporter of a team on here, I go to games in the Lowland, EOSFL, WOSFL, and SOSFL and even games in Aberdeen, midlands etc... and will state my view easily, even if one team is better then the other, I'll call it the way i see it. There's nothing wrong with you loving the cup because of its history and past but the junior cup will end up the same as the junior leagues, defunct if you don't look to the future. That is me being honest and i welcome the red dots as it shows who the delusional people are oh and my stalkers lololooll
  11. Hey I'm not from the same area as him or you, are you from the same area?, where people are delusional saying that the junior cup is the best in the country lolol What are you talking about, honestly, youve read the posts and its ripped the pish out of the ones who are promoting a cup and ignoring the facts and actually lying, (which you are ignoring). Your quite a nasty wee man, sitting behind a keyboard making clearly wrong accusations but in reality you know the junior cup is weaker than other cups so your trying to blindside lollololololol
  12. Loll, more clique coming in to try and back up the delusionists Who the feck is Franko, ffs, I'm glad the Mick Kennedy name calling has stopped, I'll need to thank Mick for starting his own profile and who else, oh aye, Tony McInally and the others lol ffs im gonna go through managers, coaching staff and committee members who are good looking, i keep being called guys who are, lets just say, not too braw Well a muppet because he is either lying and i believe he doesn't believe its the best cup in the country unless he's is living in a backwaters town and hasn't got a clue what is going on in the outside world.
  13. I know there is, but i like replying to delusional people Your talking about one crack outfit and talbot, playing a derby in the junior cup. What about all the other teams that lost money from the cup yesterday, you ignoring them? (yeah that's a question, reply to that). I dont hide from fact that are positive for the junior cup, i make both for and against facts out in the open when unlike you, you like to ignore what others say including the poster above. My reply was to a muppet who said the cup is the best non league cup in Scotland which is untrue, factually untrue because there are stronger teams in other cups which have 50 more teams in their regional tournament is this true or not? Your ignoring that question as well
  14. You dont know me, so how can you say what is valuable to me. Took me 3 minuites of my time to write that, making sure you know what what i meant and making sure people know that why shit it twisted then its corrected. p.s. valuable income, ask the teams who were shafted for money last year and the same to the ones who will lose money this year because of the cup, yeah the atmosphere of the cup is amazing
  15. You have to deal with the shit The facts are Some muppet said its the best non league cup in the country when that's factually not true and your backing him up. Did i say get rid of it, no i didn't, even people like you twist shit for your own gain and there is the proof. The Fact is that there's cups that have stronger teams in it and 50 more teams competing and if that's a shit cup, imagine if it starts to gain interest and thats just a regional cup. Many teams don't promote the other cup like they do the junior cup. Have you ever wondered in your little head why the junior leagues finished, personally its because backward people have no vision and ruled it that way and teams became restless and wanted to try and progress. I cant see there being a replacement cup for a long time, many don't want it, like the junior cup. How many teams paid £900 to £1000 in transport this season only to receive about £250 towards their travel costs. the only way I can see it being better is making it cost manageable for teams is the first couple of rounds regionalized. NEXT
  16. What is, the junior cup?. That's why only 110 teams compete in it an many teams don't wanna play in it and other cups have about 50 more teams competing and stronger teams. I'm not knocking the Junior cup but when people come out with utter shit when factually the junior cup is weaker than other cups to win. This isn't me talking, it's just the facts. Above are actual FACTS folks, go and see who red dotted it - this actually means they are delusional lololol
  17. You cannot forget that scum Thomas Brown, the Lowland league chairman who said the conference was a done deal and nothing the Lowland or Highland leagues or below could do anything about it. Talk about someone who has been gotten at We are in a situation where teams do look after themselves but you would hope if East and West teams continue to be promoted and grow stronger that they will vote the right way. The pyramid landscape is changing, however slowly and not helping that at a lowland league meeting, someone stood up and proposed that relegation form the Lowland should not be talked about until after the SPFL2 open their relegation up which was then seconded by another team. This still hasn't been made public, which persons and which teams they represented. One of the things that i still cant shake that the daft tams cant work out. If relegation from the SPFL 2 was opened up then teams being relegated from the SPFL 2 would have a greater chance of getting back after being relegated but teams like East Stirlingshire, Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers, Albion Rovers and Brechin City who all voted against relegation from the SPFL2 now realsie its hard to get back with only one play off place available after, first winning the lowland and its not even direct. If you asked all these teams now would they vote to open up relegation from the SPFL2 then yer dammed tooting they would. If the teams below the lowland are getting stronger and bigger then the teams like East Stirlingshire, Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers, Albion Rovers, and others coming down are going to find it even harder to get back up due to the east and West teams being superior with more money and or bigger fan bases.
  18. Its all viewpoints and subjective unless your in the know but Yeah it can be pinned on Rangers but I'm sure without doubt Celtic and possibly Hearts did know something of what was in the pipeline. From what we all read, hear about, Rangers are the instigators, Why do you think Rangers pulled their team out of the Lowland league this year. What did the 3 teams all sit round the table and say, "right, we've been sussed out so lets just leave the league and Celtic and Hearts said, no we are staying" or did Rangers just pull the plug without consulting Celtic and Hearts, aye right, i think they went in a huff and pulled the pug immediately. Hearts have had the youngest time last year out of the 3 last season, not sure about this season though and they have found it extremely beneficial for the progression and development of their youth players, I watched the Broomhill Hearts game at the end of last season and a quite a few of their players were 17 and sure a couple of 16 year old's. I genuinely believe from what I've seen and what I've heard from certain quarters and people that hearts see a true benefit of the development of their players being in the Lowland League.
  19. From what I've heard is that hearts will be applying gain next year, Celtic I'm unsure. But we are going to get this type of gossip constantly but is there any truth in it?. The coaching staff I do know are in favor of it as there were last year as their Hearts team was, I'm sure the youngest out of the 3 B teams but are seeing quicker progression and development of their players. The big question is, will the lowland league vote them in again, after realizing what Rangers were up to, nothing about youth but trying to get their B teams in the pyramid via the new conference?
  20. I like the honesty but most teams play on astro as in raining so they are all used to it
  21. Get that, I'm not too enamored with the cages either. Question, what happens if, say bellsdale was to change to an top grade artificial pitch, would you be for or against?
  22. Unfortunately it just shows you what a dumb shit is. Kilwinning having a riddy, that's the best yet lolol Clubs don't get riddys, they just deal with shit and bad seasons, why, because they have too, grow a set and get on and hopefully try to progress.
  23. Today, 02/10/23 That's us really at the 1/3rd of the league games played stage in the Lowland League. Is your team doing well, better than expected or worse than expected? What's your views folks !
