How did we play? I'm assuming since Naysmith seems to be giving himself a pre-season that he's looking at playing...

If we sign McFadden it would be the biggest signing in my time following the club, but I can't see it. Don't think he's quite at the stage where he's looking to drop a few divisions and start coaching. Very happy with the Mullen signing, as said he may be the best full back in the league. If we have Mullen and Naysmith as full backs, with Rutkiewicz and Campbell in the middle, that's the makings of our strongest back four for a while if everyone stays fit. Happy that Naysmith has said he wants to give more youngsters a chance, so I think we're only looking to bring in 2-3 more players before the start of the season. Then we can plug any further gaps with loanees. Looking a lot more stable than last season though. A full pre-season for the team to gel. Think I'd like one more full back and one more winger as priorities.

Very happy so far with the quality and speed of signings. Obviously still a few bodies need to be brought in but if they are of a similair quality then we should be ok. With Smith, Fash, Cook and McShane I can see goals next season, something sorely missing last year. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see who Gary and Lee can bring in to add to the squad, I'm still waiting on this Tongolesen international...

Even the picture of him in the stadium has gone. Very interesting. Maybe it's just the pessimist in me that's a little worried by these changes.

Saw that Lee said on twitter that they are just confirming pre season fixtures and they should be revealed by the end of the week. May be the big news?

I make that, including loan players, a minimum of 16 players gone! Much needed but it's going to be a busy pre-season for Gary and Lee. If the rumours of Cook, Coult and Gemmell are true I'll take them. I'm sure with Gary's connections and Robbie Neil Neilson at Hearts we'll bring in a few loans from there. I'm guessing it will be a smaller squad next season, smaller budget, so it will be interesting to see what Gary can do. Hopefully some news of signings very shortly...

Since the non-obsessed but thoughtful Clyde fans have started this thread, it would be rude of us not to use it. Despite the fact that I am gutted at relegation, it is deserved, and if it helps with restructuring the club then it may be needed. I'm happy with the players we've re-signed, very few I'd add to the list of retained players; possibly Paterson, Rooney, McBride and Buchanan at a push. Did Smith and Rutkiewicz sign deals for next season as well?

Ha, seems I'm still not quite over last weekend.

Am I the only one thinking that this week is a make or break week for the forthcoming season? If the situations regarding Dutot, Manu, the Bouzid's are sorted our squad looks so much stronger in terms of both numbers and quality, if not then we may struggle and dare I say, we look weak. I'll be keeping my eye firmly on the club's twitter feed with hope that come this weekend against Forfar, I'll be in a much more optimistic mood.
