It’s obvious with so little game time, there’s a mistake going to happen, as with the header. However thought he played well.

I rate him. He’s only clocked about 243 minutes of game time in the league so far this season, recently starting 2 games and clocking 2 important assists, which is good going for someone who’ll not be 100% match fit. He’s made a few wee errors in recent starts, but he’s been absolutely solid.

Apologies for bringing the keepers up again on a great morning.

Mackie is prone to errors, I’m surprised he hasn’t been sent off. Yet it seems to be a different view if it’s an outfield player rather than a keeper with a mistake, that it’s down to game time that’s caused it (he’s played 11 times this season), yet each gkpr has been rotated.

Both keepers have had a brilliant season yet get the brunt of frustration if we haven’t won.

Each on 0.6 goals against in the league, which is some going for a defence as a whole.

Outperforming the fifers of last season and even Peps stats.

Now dreading the repost if either screws this up.

Quite simple he catches it and ends up out his area he's off so he goes to It too tentatively.   It was a misjudgement but didn't cost us anything. How many points or games has hogarths errors cost us this season?  Longs have so far cost us two cup runs and at least 4 points alone from our last two drawn games.  Hogarth's haven't cost us anything. That's the difference for me along with the fact he was in excellent form so it's ludicrous to drop him and bring in another keeper who then flaps and costs us.

It cost us a goal, and luckily it was earlier in the match and the team were playing superb.

I've already said I would have kept in Hogarth on Saturday, as he was strong at Kelty, however both are error prone with handling.

He didn't make the same mistake at Hamilton though. The issue there was that it was right on the edge of the box and he was concerned he was going to handle it outside. Long didn't have that worry. All he needed to do was catch it and it was 3 points in the bag. Long has made far more errors than Hogarth over the course of the season.

“The issue was that it was at the edge of the box?”

He caught it then dropped it, so he dropped it because he was outside the box? 😂

It was an error, as was Long on Saturday who at worst should have caught it.

It's not really like that at all, though. Where are people being ridiculously reactive? This is similar to the folk claiming 'heads gone' last night, when people are just making a calm observation that rotating goalkeepers on a monthly basis is a really stupid idea.

I'm in the same camp of not wanting keepers rotated, I don't think its good for them at all.

If Lang hadn't made that error nobody would have been on here complaining about the change of keeper.

  5. This is like listening to Rangers or Celtic fans at work on a Monday morning, ridiculously reactive and one of their managers needs to get sacked every week.

Are we forgetting Hogarth made the same mistake at Hamilton, or Lang shouting at him as he couldn't hold a simple shot.

These guys are young and the worst thing you can do is knock their confidence.

It's a money grabbing con. £35 person that per player in the foundation. They rake in thousands per month and associated teams still have to raise their own funds for everything other than matchday strips.

There is an obvious reason why thats been put out tonight.

It could be bouncing at the first home game after anyway, kinda like a homecoming 👏🏻 💰💵

The last game vs Alloa, would the club consider splitting the North Stand, to allow more Falkirk fans in to maximise the crowd.

I'm sure every avenue will be looked at to get the biggest attendance possible.
