The results in this calendar year have been nothing less than horrific

The reality is no other club with our record would still have lumsden as manager, plenty of clubs (forfar spring to mind) who have only had a short run of bad results and parted company, some may say we're being loyal towards lumsden but iv got a feeling its more to do with the 2 year contract he was given!

Lowden has impressed me this year, i was seething when we resigned him but he shown that he can be a decent player, better going forward than defending but good cover for both positions. Dreadful hair tho

I have to agree with giving hester a chance, every time iv seen him he's impressed and whats the point of signing a promising young local lad to sit on the bench for a year when (as said) grehan and rutherford arent exactly banging them in. 4-5-1 seems to be the way forward these days but i miss a good strike partnership

I appreciate the effort lumsden is getting out the players but he's obviously not cut out for it. The major problem the board have is he has 18 months left on his contract

My patience with lumsden is running out, he's had a decent budget to pick his own squad and we have not been good enough. I stood by him after the terrible start and was hopeful when we went on a half decent run but after 1 point from the last 3 and being 1-0 up today to loose 3-1 against 10 men for the last half hour is unacceptable. Despite being only 5 points off 2nd the fact is we're the 2nd worst team in scotland. I think more than a 3rd of the season has been enough time and with annan away next it could be the final nail in the coffin.

Does anyone else find it strange that in the past arbroath dont seem to be interested in players who pick up a bad injury (kerr, crawford, mcmanus) however we're happy to sign grehan, coult and ryan(all be it on loan) who all had lengthy injuries last season? Just a thought

If a guy has been training with us all pre season i find it hard to believe we didnt have the chance to sign him. Anyway my point is im always disappointed when we let a promising local lad slip through our fingers, same with alot of the guys from the u20s who did so well a while back

Dayle robertson signed for forfar and scored a hat-trick on his debut all be it v a junior side. Disappointing to see another promising youngster not kept on/resigned

We have alot of midfielders now. Thats whatley, clarke, stewart, sergio, linn, reid, gold and mcwalter. Mcwalter the only obvious back up there too, probably end up going on loan or leaving now.

This, wasnt overly impressed with wilson but it was his first game. Another backup cb and winger needed, possibly another striker depending on formation

The club didnt show any loyalty 15 years ago for players who got a bad injury, 5 years ago, or now, its annoying and slightly shameful imo but its obviously the way they choose to run things

Any word of dayle robertson resigning? Still think he's a big talent who could do a job at this level. Would be good to see him signed alongside hester and mcwalter to show local talent is still noticed despite the u20s folding last season

Club shop needs to be more accessible and more fan days especially to encourage youngsters would be a good start. At the least the board should aim to be the best club in angus but due to a lack of ambition they dont seem to be bothered that we're way behind forfar and brechin

I remember watching a video like this a couple of years back that made leighton mcintosh look class...... look how he turned out! Maybe fit in at left mid unless lumsden plans to keep linn up front

No way i'd sign doris on current fitness, he's played about a dozen games in the 2 years since he left!
