Iirc we signed whatley as a goalscoring midfielder? Never seen him play in an attacking role for the club! He's a solid all round player but if we're not gonna bring in a rb better than wilson i'd rather see him there and get a ball winning midfielder in the centre

Cant remember the last time we made so many good signings early on in the season, proven quality too

Bit of a hero around these parts and probably played his best football here, hopefully he can stay fit and rediscover that form

Doris enjoyed his time at arbroath and i know campbell tried to sign him so a decent chance he will be a target

Hester, lowden, fleming and little r surely the only players in with a shout of a new contract. Seasons end cannot come quick enough

He'd be a good signing but would walk into the team imo. Would add good bight in midfield when needed or partner little in defence for next season?

If doris can keep fit i'd take him back. Anyone else think us signing a young prolific striker is a bit of a kick in the teeth for hester? Not sure what he has to do to get a few starts but skelly has surely pushed him down the pecking order

Centre midfielder? With Whatley, stewart, sergio(altho injured), clark, gold, mcwalter and ramsay can play there. Unless 1 or 2 of them r releases i doubt it

Doubt it we have a healthy midfield, unless he replace ramsay when he goes back to gers

The results in this calendar year have been nothing less than horrific

The reality is no other club with our record would still have lumsden as manager, plenty of clubs (forfar spring to mind) who have only had a short run of bad results and parted company, some may say we're being loyal towards lumsden but iv got a feeling its more to do with the 2 year contract he was given!
