Question: Is that the first time in our history that we've wen't through a full league season unbeaten away? If so what an amazing acheivment.
Red dotted by the resident thread bawbag..never mind.
It is an amazing achievement, despite @Rennieball / @Higgenarse

I am currently in Ayr and someone was walking down the High Street wearing a pro-Trump hoodie.
Why would you even wear that unless you wish to mark yourself out as a tit?
As ever, Curb explains all.

Watching the original Star Trek series on Netflix, with jazzy "remastered" special effects. I want to watch the original, even if it looks poorer.

What are they?
I googled wingnuts but it just came up with shite that a certain poster is probably an expert on.
In the fridge aisle, filled doughnuts in various flavours (eton mess, lemon meringue pie, etc).
£5 for 2.

I look far more like my dad than anyone ever realised
I thought I looked more like my mums side of the family but my sister sent me a photo of my dad when he was my age and we’re almost identical
I look very much like my grandfather. When he was my age - but he was thinner than me.

No photo but try M&S filled wingnuts.

I got a new (to me) car last week (an SUV, because I’m an arsehole) and it has auto hold as well (although it engages the parking brake, rather than holding the foot brake on). It really is an excellent piece of engineering.
Whatever you do, don't reveal the make of your new car to the P&B masses. I speak from recent experience!

Anyone remember the 1970s game show 'The Golden Shot'? (They had a crossbow mounted on a camera, and viewers would phone in and direct the blindfolded cameraman to aim at the target by saying "Up a bit... left a bit... up a bit more... FIRE!")
Apparently one guy called in but couldn't seem to hear what they were telling him. They asked if he could hear his TV all right and he told them he couldn't, because he was in a phone box watching the programme on a set in the window of the television shop across the road!
I remember seeing Bob Monkhouse tell this story.
Another one was that a guy was doing the aiming (left a bit..right a bit) and was miles off target. Bob stopped and asked the guy what he could see.
Nothing, was the answer, as his TV had been repossessed the week before. He was just firing blind.

All right, another nomination.

- Outside of music, an author and actress
SpoilerMadonna, of course

TBF, most of that list is to do with Brian May being an excellent promoter and milking Freddie Mercury's tragic death.
I like both groups and think they wrote a shitload of quality material between them, but Queen would probably win out as performers entirely due to Freddie. The Beatles were from a simpler time where acts could still let their songs do the talking onstage without needing that level of showmanship. Let's be honest, Queen don't achieve half as much success without Freddie's persona.
This is kind of the point I make about the Beatles. Somehow it got attached to the narrative that they transformed music, that everything that came after them was because of them.
Nothing like good PR!
Beatles were basically the Take That of the 60s.

The Ionian Mission by Patrick O'Brian.
Best series I have read in years. Individual books are kind of meaningless, just a massive story.

Mental remembering this. I was at a meeting literally across the road. Left and went home, zero drama, and watching the news at night realising how near I was, and the fact that if I had left my meeting later I might have seen some emergency services. If i remember right he was imbibing bullets just as I was getting set to go.
Tldr, I fled the scene of a murder and the five-oh never caught up with me.

This mother fucking roundabout.
If you’re coming along from the right in the picture, the road has two lanes. The right hand lane is only for the asda (4th exit). The left hand lane is for the first three exists, the third of which is well past the 12oclock hand.
Now, ignoring for the moment the c***s who’ll take the right lane to cut you off on the third exit. Should you be indicating right, whilst in the left lane and taking the third exit?
Used to do a bit of work there. I was across the road when a guy was shot dead at the Asda.

Malta was horrendous. I once stopped at a busy roundabout and the cars behind me started beeping. In Malta you just dive in and expect others to make space.
In the UK, Welsh drivers are the worst.
