My knickers are not in a twist. I was just highlighting your misinformed statement. The bookies are far better informed than you. I look forward to finishing the season above your lot, didn’t go too well for you last time we met and that was about 5 leagues apart

I watch most Bonnyrigg games and I really have no idea if we will be battling for 2nd bottom or top.

Calm down. Bonnyrigg may well win the league but if you think they are odds on favourites because the bookies have some Scottish League 2 insider info and know Bonnyrigg will win the league rather than shifting their odds to match bets placed then I'm not sure who's being laughable.
How much was your stake?
They are not odds on favourites for a start, 3/1 at best. When they are released as favourites the bookies arent reacting to money placed. As far as I can see there is no great change in prices since opening which would be a reaction to the money placed with the bookies.

All the bookies know is that a lot of people have bet on Bonnyrigg.
Yes mate, the bookies know f**k all. They just have a rough stab in the dark? Laughable statement

Well if they are still a LL club at the time of the AGM in a few weeks then they can vote either for or against the proposal when a final decision is made.
Not that it will make a difference in the grand scheme

But they are quite justified in saying that they don't think it will affect them and therefore want to leave it up to the rest. Just like Scottish MPs traditionally abstain on devolved matters.Of course it effects them, they are a LL team. A bit early to suggest they are are league two team yet.

Abstaining is the right thing to do in their position. It basically counts as a vote against anyway.Bollocks. If against it vote against. Don’t sit on the fence.

BUs voted against proposal
My gut feeling was teams with a reasonable support would. That’s why I was concerned it would be voted through.

Absolute rats.
Can't wait for them to be denied promotion because the Colts are getting wedged into League Two instead.
Morons.
Will be denied promotion by finishing midtable

Jim had a relatively short playing career at Newtown but he made a huge impact. Signed in the summer of 1983 from Armadale Thistle. The 5 ft 10 centre forward was very skilful. He made his debut at home to the wee rose and scored in a 2-2 draw. In fact he developed a penchant for scoring against them, scoring 10 in 10 competitive games in two seasons.
He scored 30 goals in his first season, including 5 on the way to lifting the Junior Cup. He also scored the winner in that years Brown Cup Final. The following season he hit another 20 goals, including a double over the wee rose in the East of Scotland Cup Final. Stenhousemuir came a calling at the season's end.
Sinnet in goal for Blackburn recently, Jim's son?
