I'd settle for a goal every two-three games in a striker as long as we weren't solely reliant on just the striker in question for goals. If we were reliant on him then it'd have to be a goal every 1.5.

You are welcome to him as far as I'm concerned. He's good for the odd cracker of a goal but outside of that he's been a poor player for us. However I think Neil McCann rates him quite highly and unless he's fallen out with the boy I reckon he'll be given another chance this season. If he does stay, i'd be playing him in role similar to the way Stewart played for us, driving into the box from the wing and smashing in a curler.

I'm baffled more by the release of Spanish Jon, had one of the best records in the league for preventing crosses into the box. However, I would have kept Holt had he not signed on and tried to sign a better left back for him to play back up too. Although I suspect Holt's release is more to do with him not getting on with McCann than his usefulness. I am lead to believe the reason he was dropped back near the start of the season was because he sided with Bain. Seems to be plenty rumors going about on facebook that we might be in for Lee Wallace though, not sure how to feel about that... No EBTs?

I'm not holding out for a striker. Reckon McCann has plans for Wighton to come in and do a job when he's fully fit. I'll be satisfied if we can secure O'Hara and Meekings extensions beyond the end of the season.
