  1. If he would come back, he's welcome, don't care if it he takes up half the wage budget could punt Ferry and Roberts and withdraw McGinn and McAlister's offers completely.
  2. Not much going on just now, anybody heard what's happening with Jim Mac and Stephen McGinn?
  3. Whenever I've ordered on justeat the confirmation e-mail takes a while to come through from them, always has, at least 10 minutes.
  4. On the subject of Sunny's phone them rather than order through just eat, they deliver way faster. I phoned once to complain about the delivery time and the boss man said "We deliver faster if you phone as the order gets taken then and there, with just eat it can take up to 15 minutes just to come through on the printer, we can also take card payments over the phone". Right enough every time I phone them it's delivered within 40 minutes, depending on the day and time it can be quicker.
  5. Roberts and Ferry. Ferry never played much but even when he did he was tripe and Roberts who is just not interested unless playing a big club.
  6. We still have 2 bombscares from last season and Tankulic who isn't quite a bombscare but hasn't been as good as we thought he would be.
  7. Some people say right back/mid and some people say he's a winger. I've never seen him play right back but i've seen him play right wing/mid. Take what you think of that but i'm not getting into the debate about what's happening with it. I've seen him far too inconsistently to give you a definitive answer from my point of view.
  8. Always forget about Krzysztof Posniak, to be fair though you never hear much of Canadian players is what I was on about, short of Stalteri, Kevin McKenna, Posniak and Carriero. I can't think of many and I only know of two them cause they played/play for us. Stalteri is there most capped player and played for Spurs and McKenna played for Hearts.
  9. Precisely. he also had a call up to the Canadian first team at the start of the season and was named their best under 20 player 2 seasons ago, definitely has something to offer, not that many Canadians get far in football...
  10. Dale Davidson, Calum Brodie and Lee Cameron were the ones released, not heard anything about McHardy. Still a better keeper than Schenk.
  11. That's John or Cammy Black, everyone's been getting mixed up. Andy has played in two first team games. John and Cammy have played none. First time was against Ross County he came on for Harris. McGinn played the whole game at right back and Dyer played left back so they didn't swap. Second time he came on it was for Tankulic against Celtic. Tankulic was playing right wing. Irvine played the whole game at right back. Dyer played the whole game at left back. Trust me he's a a right sided winger as his best position. If i can remember which is which John Black is a Right Back and Cammy Black is a Centre Back. Far too many kids with the surname Black coming through just now, it gets very confusing.
  12. Andy Black and Cammy Kerr are most likely to break in this year, Hartley has signed no player in either of their positions. Andy Black Black is a right sided winger, an area we don't have someone who can play their regularly that is pacey - he will break through this season. Cammy Kerr Irvine and McGinn are the only other right backs at the club at first team level, admittedly Irvine has just had his best season since the deefiant season but isn't great however much of a hard worker he is and I don't rate Paul McGinn highly either, Kerr is likely to play a few games I reckon Craig Wighton I full expect him to spend the whole season in the Championship on loan, we have too many strikers e.g. Loy, Hemmings, Stewart, Roberts are all strikers by trade McGowan is also capable of deputising up front although hasn't done so far with us. Calvin Colquhoun Done well when asked to last season, expect him to be in the first team regularly as again we haven't signed many in midfield and Ferry is tripe, McAlister and S.McGinn if they stay may well be chose over him though, Thomson is injury prone. Harkins is a fatty by footballer standard and although can be magical isn't capable of doing it on a regular basis anymore, McGowan is a solid and we signed Low. Matty Alan and Ben Priest Need to go on loan but Alan was close to making appearances last season on a number of occasions but we've significantly strengthened centre back. McPake, Konrad, Godzilla, Julen Extabaguren (or whatever) and Meggatt are expected to be used there P. McGinn can also fill in. Worth keeping an eye on. Sam Dryden Is a left back, likely to be 3rd or 4th behind Holt, Meggatt and Irvine who can deputise at left back as he done most of last season. Kyle Gourlay Heard nothing but good things about this boy played against Crystal Palace in the testimonial was very close to playing last season and should have played over Schenk but was injured for the... Carriero Likely to play a good few games as well, done very well for Arbroath on loan last season and played in a few games for us as well, also a striker but Hartley seems to like him as an attacking midfielder. Others to watch out for would be Cammy and John Black, Josh Skelly, Jesse Curran and Calum McHardy
  13. You sure it wasn't the other one, John Black played in the crystal palace match as well.
  14. Andy is the one that's come on in a couple of games for us in February this passed season, a game against Celtic in the Cup and a game against Ross County in the League, he played in midfield both times. Replaced Tankulic against Celtic in the 89th minute and Alex Harris in the 82nd against Ross County. He's definitely a Winger.
  15. On the subject of Julen Etxabeguren he was named in Real Sociedad's european team before joining east fife as he wanted to come over here to study. Edit for Source: http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spfl-lower-divisions/east-fife-sign-champions-league-player-1-3626956
  16. Was just having a scope at the pictures from last night. Nemsadze's not half aged and piled on the weight since he hung up his boots. Beto and Sara look like they still play. Sara had on his own customized boots and everything had the number 16 on them presumably his last squad number, think we can sign him? Ketsbaia basically looks the same, not even sure he ages, must have found the fountain of youth. Caballero still looking not bad for his age. Don't suppose anyone spotted any other old players at the match? Artero, Bonetti, Caniggia etc would have thought they may have attended in the stands even if they didn't want to play? Edit: Understandable Artero couldn't have played maybe should have worded that better.
  17. My opinion on the signings Heffernan - Short term contract not on loan, waste of us paying his wages unless he shocks us - someone who Wighton can learn off of and nothing more. Stephen McGinn - Given he hasn't kicked a ball in a competitive game in almost 3 months before the Hamilton game, will be good to see him when he's fit as he gave us trouble in pre-season when we played against him. Ben Priest - Defender prospect, looking forward to seeing if he can get involved before Davidson if we have problems at the back. Outs: Roberts - Hopefully Bazza can frighten some responsibility into the boy. Carreiro - To be fair he's an attacking mid/striker. ahead of him as Attacking Mid we already have GGH, McGowan and McAlister. As a striker Stewart, Tank, Clarkson, Wighton and now Heffernan would get the nod before him. Totally makes sense he's been loaned out again.
  18. I'd like to see Reid recapture the potential he used to have. Seems to have let it all slip away. He could go on to do a Greg Stewart though he never really made a point until last season at the age of 23. Jamie Reid has only just turned 21 i think? Surprised he's still kicking around in all honesty wasn't he free to leave...
  19. You are probably right on that one tbh. Still we do need a left back as McAlister is not a good back-up in that position if Irvine is locked to right-back.
  20. I don't see us signing O'Donnell not seeing Irvine is in the form he is. We need a left-back as I said previously to provide competition for Dyer if Irvine can't swapped over because of injuries further down the pecking order. Wouldn't be against someone like Tesselar, Hendrie or Easton. depending on what happens to their clubs this season. Tesselar - likely available for next to free at the end of the season if St. Mirren go down. Easton - Might fancy another go at Dundee if we beat St. Johnstone to the top 6. Hendrie - Already seen his West Ham move fall through, wanted down south but if nothing materializes may be an option (not sure on the state of his contract) The other option is we look to loan someone in from down south, nothing has yet materialized with our links down there.
  21. Jamie Reid and Calum Brodie have returned to the Club and Reid was playing in the Development League game against Celtic tonight. Brodie was an unused Sub as Letheren started in Goal. Jamie Reid Source: http://www.stenhousemuirfc.com/news/2015/01/20/1144/
