Yes, but you have to earn respect, not demand it.
No argument from me there.

Sandra teeing it up as “you’ve decided to move on” sums up a season of horrendous interviewing.
”All good things come to an end”. His delusions clearly don’t though.
”I’ve handed out over 100 fines this season”. Maybe that’s a strong clue that the players never respected him. No surprise.
Yes there’s probably a truth in a lack of respect. It would also seem likely that a number of our players are ill disciplined arseholes.

I can't have been the only QoS fan who laughed when I noticed Montrose had went 3-2 up. It was a very fitting end to the season.
Yes pretty much my reaction too.

As for South fans, no disrespect intended, but that display was poor against our kids. Having read through some of your threads, it sounds like the demise of Bartley has been the highlight of your season.
A meaningless game for both sides but it’ll be no surprise to any QOS fan that our gutless group of players “led” by a dreadful manager managed to lose to a team packed with youngsters despite being 2-0 up at HT. That’s how bad we are as a team and for that matter as a club. We’ve been in decline for years now.

Tremendous achievement to be unbeaten over a full league season. Great job.

Really surprised at QOTS this season. Thought yous looked like a right good team last year. I expected you to be into the playoffs at least and even challenging for the title this year!
We had an excellent goalscorer in Ruari Paton last season. Otherwise we were every bit as shite as we’ve been this time around.

Glad we're not sweating on the outcome of this. Huge game for both clubs.
Personally be happy for both teams to stay up.
Good luck to both.

Unless he’s torn it, or something else goes wrong, I think in Tierney’s case it could be timed well - famous last words of course. Should recover from an adductor injury within six weeks.
Should be fit by next week apparently.

Great effort again by Laird.
i reckon Bob will need to shoot a 4 under round today to make the cut.

Bob in at -2 Lairdy in at -4 after day 1 Cut line will be around -4/5 going by predictions
Some thoughts that the cut might even go to 6 under.
Either way Bob needs a good day at the office.
Hopefully both Scots make it through.

How do you purchase tickets for this game? Since our season ends on friday I would be tempted to head along to this on saturday. I can't seem to find where to purchase tickets on the AS website and couldn't see anything on social media
For our recent visit to Stirling tickets were available to purchase on line from about the Wednesday before the game. There was a link on Stirling website.

What's the script with Robertson ??? Thought he played today, did he get injured ?
Looks like he played full 90 minutes today.

It's been a blast but thankfully we're out of here now.
All comes down to Stirling v Annan. Stirling need the win. Draw does it for Annan.

Agree with what you're saying about Gibson, sadly. We can only hope he has the same impact as he did in the last home game, that's assuming Bartley actually puts him on!
Fully expecting all the others mentioned will be strutting their stuff to Bartley's game plan.
Yes I suspect Gibson won’t start today. I’d play him every week albeit using him as a wing back does him no favours. He was really poor at Stirling though.
The much maligned McKay who I really don’t rate was probably our best player last week.0 -
Detry and MacIntyre right in the mix.
Russell Knox and Malnati right on the cut line (top 33 and ties) and only 5 shots off the lead. Hopefully make it through.

Played in our Wednesday sweep yesterday. Very nice start of bogey, par, par, par.
Hit a great drive on par 4 5th. Had 80 yards to the pin for my 2nd. Pushed it right, absolutely plugged in the bunker, 3 shots to get out and thus out of nowhere 6 shots to get down from 80 yards and a triple bogey 7.
Played reasonably steadily after that and ended up with a nett 75.
Bloody golf.

This taken from the BBC report on the match says so much about what is wrong at Man United.
“Brazilian wideman Antony cupped his ears at the Coventry fans at the end, even though United were 3-0 up when he replaced Alejandro Garnacho”. Honest to God what an incredible lack of self awareness. Antony is one of many who is the problem and never in a million years part of the solution at a basket case of a club.4 -

A repeat of the 1980 SC final?
Get Archie to write a script for the TV pundits. Think he might need to tone down the language as I’m not sure the modern day equivalent could pronounce some of these words.
“This is like a scene out of Apocalypse Now…we’ve got the equivalent of Passchendaele and that says nothing for Scottish football. At the end of the day, let’s not kid ourselves. These supporters hate each other.”
First Old Firm Scottish Cup Final since 2002. Must be plenty of opportunity to populate that script.

Well, I managed to make it through the first 45 seconds of the buffoon's post match interview before turning it off. His opening gambit regarding his pre-match team talk was "it is imperative that we don't lose this game of football. Go out there and give everything you can, possibly to win it." Possibly? FFS!
It’s a very low bar but I actually thought it was one of his better post match interviews tbh. That’s not saying much mind you. For all it grates it’s also true that we just couldn’t afford to lose yesterday.

Crucial win for Annan at Edinburgh and a 0-0 in Stirling v QOS. Keeps QOS 3 points ahead of Stirling and one ahead of Annan. It was key that we avoided defeat at Stirling and albeit it was a dreadful game at least we achieved that.
