Zombie Carlisle United carry on with a 1-0 win at Cheltenham - now on 30 points
Think our lowest total in 3pts for a win era is 34 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Carlisle_United_F.C._seasons - though that was a 42 game season
Always good to get a win. There's been no sign of the players downing tools and though the quality isn't there the effort still seems to be.

Back in the days of an exciting team playing 4-4-2.
Except we didn’t play 4-4-2 that night.
Kidd and Holt as wing backs on either side of Durnan, Dowie and Higgins.

We are open but still off matts. Course was sodden last night when I was out. Raining all day in the Tayside/angus area so matts look to be continued for the foreseeable. Depressing
We’re no longer using mats, as of April 1st, but the back 9 remains closed due to flooding and given it’s pissing down again today I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Hugely frustrating.

So this weekend Ferguson skippers Bologna, McGregor came off the bench as he recovers from injury, McKenna played for Copenhagen, and with the exception of Injured Gilmour, Hanley, Shankland (ill) and Nesbitt all the possible squad members gained some game time, even Barnes played some time.. (just if he stays away from the dark side)
A good number of other squad probables/possibles didn’t feature at the weekend. Hickey, McTominay, Patterson, Ralston, Brown. Suspect I’ve missed some others too.
BBC saying tonight that 26 man squads still under consideration.0 -
So Everton finally win a game on Saturday only to get hit with a further 2 point deduction under financial fair play rules.

I'm sorry but I fail to see how anyone can want Man City to win anything. I hope Arsenal/Liverpool win the league, Real Madrid pap them out in Europe and they lose the FA Cup Final. Glory hunting fans at work is a small price to pay IMO.
Exactly this.

Surely you’d want to get on with this next shot. Bizarre.
Edit or maybe not. That’s a great shot.

Astonishing stuff.
4 shot lead going into final round, shoot 5 under and still don’t win outright. Amazing.0 -

Think that's a wee bit harsh on Brydon, quite like the look of him and the lad's been badly hampered by injury this season.
I actually meant the group in terms of underachievement. I like Brydon as a player. Could have put that better.

Just had a look on our official site.
As is well documented Bartley is contracted to May 2025.
Someone understandably commented yesterday that they can’t wait for the end of the season but a fair number of our underachieving players I.e. Brydon, Church, Hutchinson, Doherty, Cochrane and McKechnie are also contracted to May 2025.

Probably a final day shoot out between Annan and Stirling to avoid 9th. Place
Yes please.
Every chance still that we'll be 9th. Bullshit Bartley has us firmly in the mix.

We continue to “sleep walk” towards L2 - Manager and players should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
I'd be including the board in that list too. They're not so much sleepwalking as comatose IMHO.

Ok now I believe you boys are in real bother..stick or twist with Bartley?
He should have been sacked months ago. There won't be many QOS fans who think otherwise.
That he's still in post is a dereliction of duty by our board in my opinion.
Unless they are astonishingly still convinced that Bartley remains the man for the job then they've actively chosen to take a punt on us somehow staggering clear of 9th spot in order to save a few months pay off money. In the meantime we lurch ever closer to a play off spot. If we end up 9th then I'm as certain as I can be that we'll be doomed to relegation to tier 4 of Scottish football. It's a scandalous state of affairs.
My instinct is that the punt might yet "pay off" but it'll be largely due to the failings of others if it does.

Thought we deserved it overall but not much in it. Gibson looked dangerous last 15, no idea why Queens didn't utilise that earlier with the wind.
It's possibly that our manager is a complete charlatan but to be fair I'm basing that on such trivial things as points gained, goals scored, league position, even entertainment delivered rather than the really crucial metric of sticking to the game plan,

Absolute no bottle, 4 more matches then never have to endure watching a single one of these imposters ever again.
You realise some of them have deals to the end of next season.

What a shower of shitebags we are. Even a point would have been a big result.
If we avoid 9th it'll be down to the failings of others.

Alloa 2 up at Stirling, which is nice.
Annan behind as well.
So far another afternoon of hoping results elsewhere go our way.

Anyway back to tomorrow, I'm not sure what will spoil the game more for us, the predicted wind or Bartley 's decision making!
Aye it does look like it'll be a tad breezy.

Lovely finish for laird birdies the last 2 to be in at -2
Yes cracking back 9 of 3 under after a double on the front 9 when he had to reload on the tee had him outside the current projected cut line of even par. Really good effort.

Yes I understand your point.
When you look at the really solid pros in that team with the likes of McKenna, Dowie, Higgins and Lyle plus youngsters like Holt and Reilly it makes you realise how far we’ve fallen as a club. Challenging for a play off spot in a championship that contained the likes of Hibs and Rangers. In that week alone we beat Hibs at Easter Road followed by wins over Rangers and Falkirk at Palmerston.
