  1. Pike in, A lady from Fantasy Prints and Kevin Dixon is a rumour doing the rounds today. Cannot be right, can it? [emoji15]
  2. Next up in the boardroom shuffle is Colin Pike. JB drafts his mate in. Close the doors people.
  3. Who’s next then? Heston? How does this work? Is it just a case of sticking your hand up and off you go? Surely any good governance has directors with job descriptions and directors that fit those descriptions no? Berwick Rangers do this don’t they? If so what will Heston’s remit be and what will he bring to the party? The rest......any ideas? Answers on a postcard .........
  4. I dread to think of the pumpings we are likely to get.
  5. Look at the signings others are making while we sit looking on. We won’t come back up while this lot of directors are there. Walla is gone apparently so let’s hope there’s more follow.
  6. Do you really think with this group of utter amateurs we will be winning regularly? Then there’s the players to talk about.
  7. The state of that. It’s these c***s that are as culpable as the board.
  8. Am I missing something here with the programme for Saturday?? Why only a max of 2 purchases per person? Are they expecting a huge rush due to it being our last ever league game and so it’ll become a collectors item? Why not sell them to whoever no matter if you want 1 copy or 31? Go on, someone enlighten me please.
  9. I struggle to understand how grown people are talking about the what ifs and can it happen. The tie is dead. Cove will win on Saturday too. There’s not a hope of us triumphing by a single goal never mind by enough to go to penalties. For fucks sake do you really think we’d even win on penalties? Likely be lucky to make the net bulge twice during penalty kicks.
  10. Some great posts today. And unfortunately some that highlight what an absolute shambles BRFC and it’s board of directors are. Directors are supposed to do exactly that, direct. This lot have been asleep at the wheel with the sat nav still searching for the house number.
  11. The biggest thing Brownlie noticed when he took 1st training session was how poor their fitness levels are. Has anybody any idea if this managerial pair are here for next season? If not who will drive recruitment? This should be starting now or we’ll end up in the all too familiar situation of getting the arse end of the pick.
  12. You are delusional if you think there’s hope. We’ll get well beaten again on Saturday.
  13. 110%. He got his team all wrong yesterday. Problem is our best is still a long way short of decent. There’s been plenty shambolic performances this season but yesterday was up there with the best. Men against boys. A totally unacceptable performance that I’m sure the players think wasn’t that bad. That’s how low this club is.
  14. Surely they’ll also strengthen during the summer too? Look I know we are dire but they looked a very decent outfit yesterday. They were head and shoulders above us and looked very composed and I’d argue that they possibly had another gear left. Yes away from home they’ll struggle at times I’m sure if that however I really think that side of yesterday will be no worse than 7th next season and could do very well if the team is strengthened.
  15. Another one not looking at the stark reality of this. We don’t get out of the LL by year two then the cash in the bank is gone. We’ll have zero to play with. This is a certainty by year 3. The running costs of our ground alone are huge and our costs by then will be far outstripping our income. It is already and that’s with the payments from the league, we’ll have no parachute payment by then. This is real and too many supporters aren’t realising the position we are now in. Massively behind the 8 ball to attract players that will be able to get us out. Costs that won’t go away and dwindling income from gates, sponsors and league. It’s not a mix that points to us being healthy unless we get out of the LL fast. Also remember it’s not just a case of winning the league there’s then 4 matches to get past to get back up. Let’s be honest, the club has survived over the last 20 years by luck, money from plumb cup ties and tv cash allowing it to keep money in the bank. That opportunity of rolling the dice and getting lucky will also disappear too.
  16. I can’t believe I’m reading some defending players. Today was indefensible. Shambles from beginning to end. This lot deserve absolutely everything they are getting. Not fit to wear the shirt and as for those in the Boardroom they need to all take a look at themselves for what they’ve created. History, history that no fan wanted but due to mismanagement have been delivered it. RIP Berwick Rangers. We’ll be ground sharing with Spittal Rovers within 5 years.
  17. Sat thinking about this game last night and I’d say Hawick was the pinpoint event of the club starting its journey to where it is today. As long as tomorrow isn’t another Hawick or worse!
  18. I’m really not looking forward to Saturday. Not one bit however we’ll be there and right behind the team. I’d take a one goal defeat however I’m resigned to at least 2 and more than likely 3 plus. Hopefully the new Gaffer and Yano have found something that’ll work. Come on lads let’s get torn in about this! Jimmy Rowan’s Black & Gold Army!!!
  19. Leave the ground at 4.30. We’ll be 4-0 down by then. [emoji85]
