What a very underwhelming appointment. Why are we going down the inexperienced route again? Its not worked for us, so why attempt it again? Obviously going to get behind him and hope he proves everyone wrong, but cannot see it. This was a brilliant chance to get an experienced manager in, someone who could steady the ship then get us promoted. Big baws up by whoever decided he was the man imo.

Folk were saying that on Saturday as well. His brother is keen for a return so thought he’d be able to convince Stevie. I reckon it is going to be Allan Moore, although Jimmy Nicol was at the game Saturday

Hartley signed Mackin for money at Falkirk? Maybe he’s having a say? Or perhaps Barr and co have been allowed to bring players in, which is odd but who knows.

Dylan Mackin signs and Kevin Fell is offski. Quite liked Fell, thought he showed potential.

He has no SPFL managerial experience. We’ve gone down that route plenty of times now and it has all ended in failure. We need someone with a bit of experience to get drilled into this squad and get them performing.

Maybe he thought he was going to get the Berwick gig? Can’t see him getting our job. We need experience.

He kept them up in the Championship did he not? And got them to a cup final, okay they lost but would love that at the Albion. He did well with Stranraer and his brother absolutely loves the Albion. Reckon he would do a job at us, bring back oor Tiff.

Don’t know enough about him. Did a job at Kelty but do they not have a bit of money to play with? Really want the Aitken brothers, but can see Stevie Aitken going to Airdrie.

Would be happy with Murray, but the Aitken brother revolution is my preferred choice.
