Nice guy but shite footballer, would not give him a game in division3.
Would be very surprised if the ton sign him

We missed out on Corcoran years ago, he certainly can play a bit so hope we get him

Big Flash was a good servant to the club but obviously thinks he is better than he actually is, good luck
To him!!

As I worked for the same company as the big chap he told me he was on 180 a week, 2 year deal

Need a striker badly though

Was it not Borrowman? The fud that he wasWe're all a bit bored now ain't we. And this is with the season only finished 2 days ago. Still, the Scott Barrowman one showed ingenuity.

Glad The Chase has signed back up, was superb more often than not last season and hes a great leader on the park.
As for Martin Hardie, wouldn't be that keen to be honest.
Do we really need him?

I barely remember winning 5-2 at Tynecastle in 82 (6 at the time), stopped them being promoted from Division 1 and I am sure the police advised the sons fans to leave before full time.
Very famous and memorable result

If we bring in gemmell then listers loss won't impact as much as turner leaving. Plus the total rage from some of the sons fans on here would be fantastic reading
Thon "supersons" boy would spontaneously combust.
Yup I hate the fat bam

Constructive debate PeterDobbie was never signing for us permanently. Less than a week since the season ended and we're arguing about John Gemmell and Stephen Dobbie, it's going to be a long summer.
Anyway stand corrected on the beast he did play before Dobbie but then Dobbies time was memorable!!

C'mon Snudge he cannot be defended!!, remember McCabe didn't want to waste the money he had on Dobbie permanently and signed The beast.
Hopeless
Anyway all good boys that have resigned so far

Exactly my point 08, what a donkey!!
Now Flannery/lister/beaney these are strikers!!

Go on give us the prolific Gemmell's goals total should be a right laugh!!
One goal against Raith does not make you any good, bearing in mind he missed a penalty moments b4.
Utter pish

Have seen most of the rubbish over the last 30 years and to be fair there has been poor players but Gemmell for me was garbage.
Can't see the fuss about him
As he did nothing for us

Gemmell was utter pish when he was at us before so why would we want him back, just so Shakey can renew his love affair with himWill be interesting to see who's kept on and who's let go.
Personally I'd like us to Keep: Lister
, Prunty, Gilhaney, Agnew, MacDougall, Turner , Graham, Lithgow, Grindlay, Ewings*, Fleming - I'm sure I've forgot someone here, and I can't for the life of me think who...
Of those I'd like to keep Lister, Turner & Fleming are probably the most likely to end up offered something elsewhere
Aside from that I'm not overly fussed. I'd consider keeping Lamont, provided he bulks up a bit and learns to tackle <_<
There's no doubt where we need to strengthen, Our defence has been a problem all season, and we need to sign at least 3 Full-Backs. I'd take McGinn back in a heartbeat, that boys fantastic and destined for bigger things. Smith I'd take as well if he doesn't get a FT club. We need another CB as well, preferably one with a bit of pace.
I'd consider another keeper if we can get another one in who's better than what we have (but thats doubtful) and in that instance I wouldn't keep *Ewings.
We'll need another CM as we're a bit short in there although both this and CB depend on where Murray decides he should play. And likely another Winger and a Striker. 2 strikers if Lister goes
, some of our fans are chanting for John Gemmill but I'm not convinced about him. Saying that I wasn't conviced about Lister when he signed either so whoever is signed is due a chance.
Tonight should be quite interesting, anyone know if the twitter is doing updates?
Pee off beast

Was that the one about the sons re-shaping or something ? Probably best left alone. Some of these smartasses would be posting images of pears.
But I agree that the son's sorrow is a bit melodramatic. I thought the team bus had crashed into the rock
you meant bottle crashed at the rock!!
