See Liam Caddis came off the bench today for St Johnstone. Scored his penalty aswell.

I read that story as well. What's the get-up with the training as I am assuming he will still be getting a part time wage.

Caddis also came off the bench at the midweek game at Raith Rovers and with his first touches ran the ball right off the park with no-one even near him to pressure him if I remember right. Never really rated him at all with us tbh.

Caddis could've did that though. Anytime he was replaced by Eddie Ferns he did that Caddis used to try hug the touchline and usually just touched the ball out.

When did you sign him? Was it just a loan signing last year? Or am I thinking about a completely different player altogether?

Fair enough maybe just not had his best of games when I've seen him.

Never realle been to impressed with Brownlie from what I've seen, wasn't there anyone else who could have made the step up to full time?

What I meant was more like the opposite of Raith. They are full time with a few part time players, we could be part time with some full time players.

Looking at today though and having our expectations on surviving again for another season it's looking good. In the weekender paper 12 alloa youths have signed full time deals in a modern apprenticeship deal. This could be a bit of a transition for a possible full time team in the future.

Quite a good performance from some of the players tonight. McCord contributed massively when he came on. Overall looking not bad so far though.

If he was playing in your reserves i'm guessing Queens doesn't think he's good enough for this level?

Seen on the SPFL site that Hetherington had a spell with Rangers in 2009, I've not seen any of the friendlies yet cause i'm just back from holiday so i'll maybe see how they play on Thursday

Don't see what every ones problem is with Smith. One really big downside is he is quiet on the touchline and reluctant to change his tactics, but what he done for Dundee was amazing and hopefully he can bring some of that to Alloa. Give the guy some time to build his own team and get them playing the way he wants them and then judge him

IMO Meggat on the left would also be a great addition to any of the part-time squads
