All players at Alloa are on part time deals, think he is a good signing for Alloa and from when he was at Alloa before I can't see how he could have went so downhill so quickly but Raith Rovers fans don't seem to rate him

Why not a two year deal? He done a great job with us last time id happily have him back on a two year deal

Hopefully gain a good amount of long term supporters this season with more attending away games as well. Daryll Meggat has now put pen to paper and signed on for another season with Alloa, more great news and the team is beginning to take shape. 1 or 2 new players and Doyle to resign and we will have a decent squad for the coming season

I would say he is good enough to step up and next season will be really hard as well ringing him in when we're expected to get pumped then the result doesn't matter really I've heard white a few times and that's it but I've been in Belgium for a week so not sure what has been said this week

He's definitely not experienced at this level and I think McDowall should be number 2 with him being the back up McDowall deserves his chance to prove himself now

I would agree with this, McDowall has stepped up and done the job when called upon and his attitude seems right

3 good players signed/resigned the one I'm not sure about cause ive never really seen him is Weatherston anyone know how he plays or if he's any good?

He seemed like he could've been decent if he hadn't picked up an injury although when he did recover from the injury it looked like Barry Smith had no intention of playing him

Alot of teams play a reserve team or younger team in pre-season friendlies to see if anyone stands out for the first team. All i'm saying is teams like East Stirlingshire won't really help the first team very much so I couldn't see a starting 11 full of first team players involved.

1 or 2 Premiership teams maybe like St Mirren and Kilmarnock or similar level could and would have been brilliant. Depends what the plans are for pre-season though, i'm assuming games against the likes of the Shire may be a reserve or almost reserve team with the Northampton game being a starting 11 or there abouts

Beat thing we could do is drop out the Stirlingshire cup in my opinion it would be much better if it was played as a preseason cup

So far so good, 5 players who will be very welcome into the squad at this level hopefully at least another 3 players maybe more will sign that will get first team football with some youths promoted (Scott Hynd, Lewis Wilson) and some free transfers and we could have another strong squad capable of surviving another season

Months ago in the paper he wanted signed, a great player to have in this league next season, amazing pace, can play on the wing or up top if needed and has shown he can score against considerably bigger teams (Falkirk goal of the season)

Heard Alloa are in talks with Stirlings striker Jordan White, the source I heard it from is very unreliable but he was adamant that the contract signing was 99% done anyone else heard this?
