The Penguins play the Rangers on Friday, which means my TV will hopefully be fixed and I'll be able to get a good picture instead of watching a stream on the internet. I can't wait already. GO PENS GO.

I realise that absolutely every single person hates the Flyers, and as a Penguins fan it is my duty to do so too, but I struggle to find any reason. I don't exactly like them, but I prefer them the Capitals anyway. I'm pleased anyway, I'd rather come up against the Flyers than the Caps. Good win for San Jose too, I don't pay as much attention to the Western conference as I'd like to, but when I have seen the Sharks they've been outstanding. Definitely have to be one of the favourites

I think I'll be watching the 7th tie between the Flyers and the Caps, it's gonna be a good one. I hope Washington go through. Re; the Habs game last night... well, that's just proof really of their quality. They needed the win and they sure as hell got it.

My only sources are hearing in mentioned by commentators once or twice, and on messageboards. Sans fans seem up for it, Canucks fans less so.

I agree about Price, I don't think he's totally ready yet for the pressure of the later stages of the playoffs. I suppose the only way to get ready for it is to go for it. I'd love to see the Bruins beat the Canadiens to be honest, it should be a good game, I look forward to it. What do people make of the rumour that the Canucks and Senators are discussing a trade of Luongo for Spezza? I assume it'll include Gerber going to Vancouver too just so that the Canucks have a goalie. The Canucks are looking to rebuild their team and Spezza is exactly what they need, somebody capable of over 100 points, but I'd imagine their team will be rebuilt around Luongo. It's certainly inetresting.

OK well maybe this won't happen now that Boston have forced a 7th game against the Habs, and the Flyers are maybe even looking a bit shaky now.

Injuries didn't help the Sens, but even then Heatley etc. were all very underwhelming when they did play. It was a surprise to me cause I think like a lot of people I expected them to be one of the favourites this year. Won der what happened... Rangers won last night to become the 2nd team to bag their series too, meaning they'll play the Penguins in the next round. A great chance to crush Sean Avery.

The Pens totally destoyed the Senators, which is great cause I hate Danny Alfredsson. 11 years of straight playoff action and captain magnificent has still never won anything! Crosby and Malkin are awesome together, what a paretenership. With Ryan Malone playing well to, I've got to (with complete bias) go for the Pens to win the Cup. The Montreal - Boston tie is very interesting, if Boston win the next game (it's in Montreal so I doubt it) it's going to a 7th match. I'd love to see that, partly because I don't like Montreal, partly because Tim Thomas is one of my favourite goalies. The surprise team for me so far has been the Flyers though, jeezo, Washington absolutely rampaged the tail end of the season yet one more win in D.C. for the Flyers and the Caps are out. It's a shame really, cause I quite like them, but the fact that they qualified has IMO guarenteed Alex Ovechkin the MVP award for this season. Anyway, that's my input so far. Oh, that and the fact that I'm shocked that with the quality of Datsyuk et all that the Detroit Red Wings haven't managed to murder the Predators. For now, GO PENGUINS!

Pittsburgh have just beaten NYR to go top of the Eastern. Deecent game, we had 3 PPs without any shots though which is unusual. Hossa got a goal too which I was happy about, and also Crosby getting back in was important. He looked good. Go Penguins!

Will be a struggle to fit them all in at once, but they should always be able to have at least one of them on the ice at at time. Hossa won't be in Pittsburgh next season anyway, they have publicly come out and said the priority is to keep Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal, and then they'll see if they have the funds to keep Marian Hossa, which will be a struggle really. Massive game in the Eastern tomorrow night, Pens taking on the Devils, I think the winner will end up coming out on top of the conference.

Boston are brutal right now, Habs should walk that. Pens play Lightning at home tonight, these are never the most exciting matches but nonetheless I'll be watching. Go Penguins!

Let's revive this thread for the upcoming playoffs... What to say about the Western Conference, eh? Detroit have owned it this season to be honest, but I doubt they'll go far in the playoffs. I hope not anyway. The Eastern is much more exciting, I think a team from there will win it. I hope it's the Penguins, but I'm not sure. If they can utilise the fact that they have the strongest attack in their history (well, there was the early 90s Jagr and Lemieux days, but with Malkin, Hossa and Crosby it could be debated). I hope they can avoid Ottawa in the playoffs, the record isn't the best to be honest, at least not this year. I wouldn't mind getting the Habs, good record against them. Going to be very exciting. My tip for the playoffs? Heart says Penguins, but my head tells me we're too reliant on attacking and a good team will capitalise on this. It's going to be interesting... Lets go Pens!

I hate when you're watching football and they show replays at ridiculous angles where you can't make out what is actually happening. I do not want to see the view I'd have if I was the player's crotch thank you very much.
