Given the premiership currently finishes a fair bit after the championship I don’t mind them not having to play the same number of games. Have always thought it should be 2nd v 3rd over 2 legs then a one off neutral playoff at a reasonable location v the premiership 11th team. Short and sweet and filled with jeopardy. I find it difficult to get up for the 3rd v 4th championship game. Almost impossible to get through 2 further ties after it.

Excellent statement. Pure self preservation concealed in the guise of pretence our top flight is an “elite” league. Rushed through with no democratic debate without the consent of 30 of the 42 members. Only moment worse in recent memory was the Sevco debacle, in which our then board played a dismal part too.

There is some method to the madness, although its mostly luck based on whether you get in early or not. I had phone tab, 3 browsers on my laptop, 3 browsers on my computer. 7 in total and 1 came in fairly early, the rest took a lot longer. If you're sitting with just 1 tab open you've got basically no chance. If you can't work from home in front of a computer you're fucked, which doesn't seem right.
