  1. Scottish football as corrupt as feck! And all to sound track of singing about wading in the blood of dead Catholics. Total scumbags.
  2. And the following Tuesday a Rangers player did worse to a Livvy player in a similar areas of the pitch and the goal stood - VAR official - Nick Walsh. Like pre-VAR, it's still far too often about the officials and the teams involved.
  3. Absolutely. That’s exactly how I’d want to see our players react under such circumstances.
  4. Police control room obviously realised it was well inside the box. Get some of those guys on to VAR duties.
  5. He said he agreed with every single one. Said that’s why he was here. And told me to look out for something special in injury time. Top man.
  6. The look on his face when we were celebrating the winner. Seething
  7. Real Deja Vu game. Saints edging it; but behind. Really should have taken one of our chances. Anyone help me out with how added on time works? Aberdeen wasting time from the second minute. At least 4 VAR checks. 2 minutes added?
  8. It's actually St Mirren you're playing, not Hearts.
  9. No, but if that decision had been called correctly we'd have had two more points and the Dons two less. Still, we've Nick Walsh on Saturday - the guy who chopped off three of our goals in a single game against Hearts the month after that game. And who also refereed our very next home game - and first league defeat of the season - against 'Ra gers'. So, on the 'things levelling up over a season' front, we'll walk this on Saturday. Cheers Nick!
  10. Double tap penalty decision against Aberdeen absolutely cost us 2 points. So hard to beat that. 2 of the 3 Walsh ruled out against Hearts were awful decisions too. We're going to finish 3rd when these things even themselves up between now and the end of the season.
  11. When I heard that comment I was surprised as despite our pitch being the worst I’ve seen it at this time of year, I thought it wasn’t any worse than the other top flight teams. So was expecting the County pitch to be pretty decent, but it was awful. The pass that led to Fraser ballooning the ball back to Gogic before the goal was like skimming a stone across a choppy loch. Think that may have been down to both teams playing hoof ball and struggling to put three passes together.
  12. I guess you can say that for a lot of goals though. If Gogic had just punted the ball up the pitch instead of passing it to White? I think Olusanya had a lot more to do to score from there than White did.
  13. Bad as that was; there’s still only one VAR mistake this season that has categorically changed the result. Tonight we could have missed that penalty; or scored it and lost 3-1. The VAR decision against Aberdeen is two points we absolutely should have had.
  14. That was an absolute howler. I think Collum was either ref or VAR.
  15. Shit game of football. Difference between the teams: gift from Saints after a Gogic mistake. And a blind VAR official. VAR fucking hates us.
  16. Agreed. Also think Lasley deserves a lot of credit. Those guys have made a huge difference to the club.
  17. In a two week period earlier in the season we had THREE goals chopped off by VAR against Hearts (2 should have stood) and against Aberdeen a goal chopped off for offside when Dons had cleared the ball twice after the initial offence - oh, and in that game, VAR not spotting a double-touch penalty with the last kick(s) of the ball cost us 2 points. Not sure how many of the decisions they've admitted VAR got wrong can clearly have been shown to have an impact on the result, but that's certainly one of them. FWIW, and I hate to say it, I thought both Rangers penalties were correct. First one always would have been, second is the kind of crap that gets given 9/10 these days. Be great to have a game where there was zero VAR controversy. [As an aside, we'll have Bolton back in defence for this after him missing Saturday due to the ref overruling VAR and keeping a clear yellow as a straight red in the game against Dundee].
  18. This is the game Levein will be hoping for some fruit from his recent "refs out to get us" press campaign. Never going to get it against Rangers of course, so expecting a few more comments from him before Saturday.
  19. That’s not cheating. Cheating would be reacting as he did with no contact. There are hardly any footballers that if they think they’ve been fouled don’t exaggerate to draw it to the attention of the officials. Even more so with VAR. That’s a penalty all day long, and what he did made sure VAR checked it.
  20. On a first viewing I thought A) why did he throw himself to the ground when he’d beaten the player and B) get up and get on with it. When I saw the replays I was 100% certain the penalty would be given. Would even have been given against The The Rangers. I was however also 100% sure Mandron would miss when he took the ball.
  21. Some of the passing in the first 20 minutes was outstanding. A bit more mobility and awareness from our strikers and we’d have gone ahead in that period.
  22. Even discounting the penalty miss, I think 4 times in the second half we hit the ball narrowly by when it’d have been easier to score. Livvy defenders also blocked a good few shots from the edge of the box. Go there and get 21 shots on goal and we really should be taking at least one point away. Just not our day.
