Was at Dumbarton the last 2 seasons.

Had seen Edin Lynch was one of our trialists, but he has signed for Stenhousemuir today.

There’s no way Peterhead will be near the bottom of the league with the signings they’ve made. Elgin look a right mess though. I’d also expect Bonnyrigg to be down the bottom again. On the strips, I don’t even know how the away strip which was voted on hasn’t been announced.

We only have Rennie signed so will be needing at least 2 other strikers signed.

Surely after last weekend, and this Braves game we’ll have made our minds up on what trialists will be getting offered deals.

Are we playing you tonight? I was sure you posted on twitter saying it had been cancelled then deleted it, and our website says we have a game with you.

This isn’t directed at you as there’s a good few said it, but nobody has offered up any sort of decent reason as to why it won’t happen.

I’d be interested to hear what folks alternatives to crownpoint are…

Was there any publicity when he signed for Dumbarton or Peterhead after his conviction?

I disagree that he becomes lazy, the issue we had was constantly playing him out of position. He had a run playing through the middle and what happened, oh he went on a run of scoring. Only ourselves to blame I think.

Messaged my mate this morning saying I’d like Elgin or Stranraer at home first, but watch us get Spartans away first, and tonight’s lottery numbers are….

If he’s fit and plays through the middle he could do a job and get double figures for the season. We couldn’t keep him fit and moved him out wide to accommodate Kyle Doherty, some laugh.

I don’t see us pushing a play off, but also don’t see us being quite as bad as 9th. I think on current squads we should be looking to be better than Elgin, Bonnyrigg and Stranraer. Won’t post a prediction table until nearer august.

Aye, never really got a run in the team but would say he’s too lightweight for league 1. Not the worst finisher though.

Is Olly macdonald on trial with you? Noticed him in the picture from the game on Saturday.

A bit like scullion I thought Craig started off poorly but certainly got better as the season went on, so happy enough that he’s back. 14 signed now, with ray grant training I believe. Will need another 3 or 4 signed and a few loans to pad the squad out.

Dumbarton got a good few in early, but other than that I don’t think I’ve seen anyone bring a lot in. Think it’s Johnstone Burgh Dorrans signed for who must have a bit of backing, St Cadocs obviously have it as well. The money being thrown about that level is ridiculous in relation to where they are in the pyramid, and not sure it yields the interest they’d hope for. I think we’ll need to use the loan market well this summer because of the above. On loans, I saw Ewan Otoo has moved to Dunfermline permanently, pleased to see him get a good move as he was good with us.

That East Stirling closed door game is the only friendly I’ve seen confirmed for us so far.

I don’t think that’s entirely true that the blame for the budget is on supporters, they’ve said for years it’s the inability to generate revenue without our own ground. Supporters can only add to what is brought in via gate receipts, sponsorship etc.
