Generally speaking, a team that’s won 3 league games all season doesn’t suddenly win 2 on the bounce in the last 2. Even a point at Dunfermline will be enough to ensure a play off.

Thought he had a slow start, maybe down to fitness but since about October/November been our best player.

Hope the Dunfermline players are in party mode for this

I’d be astonished if we offered Grant a deal, I was pleased when we initially signed him but he was miles off it and I thought he was always a bit weak in a tackle. Should we meet in a play off we’d have Brian McLean and Erik Sula at centre back, assuming they’re fit. I’ve thought for a good while that the play offs would be a formality for either us or Peterhead, I can maybe see us getting past East Fife or the other teams around them, but I’d struggle to see us get by either you lot or Annan.

Haven’t seen a great deal this season but Roberts for me as well, he’s stood out every time. Went for Cunningham’s goal v Peterhead for goal of the season, but that’s probably the worst set of goals we’ve ever had

Thought Parry could’ve stopped the second going in, there are countless times this season of him making a save but the follow up goes in. This team chucked it a long time ago, the fact we have to go through at least another 6 games is torture for all involved.

Peterhead picked up 5 points from 36 under Robertson and scored 3 goals in that time, conceding 32. A team like that won’t suddenly have an upturn in fortunes with a new manager.

Cunningham gets played through the middle and scores 10 goals, so we stick him back out wide to accommodate a new striker who’s done nothing since coming in. What a team.

Can tell it’s a game between 2 pish teams when there’s more talk about a player winding up oppositions players and fans than the game itself.

Good grief that’s one of the worst own goals you’ll ever see. I’m not even sure he’s trying to pass it back it looks more like he’s going to put it out for a corner. His family will obviously be defensive of him, but he’s miles off the standard required. Even for league 2 I wouldn’t want him.

The view from the highlights just shows how poor a stadium that is, letting the Edinburgh defender get a free run for the first was poor. I always have the fear at a set piece as we’ve been poor all year defending them. The second and third are a bit of a joke how easily Edinburgh played around us. No complaints on the red, that’s a shocking challenge. Montrose aren’t having the best of seasons but they’ll run over the top of us with the midfield we’ll have to put out.

East Stirling have put on twitter that Andy Rodden is back with us, strange as it was announced he was there until the end of the season.

Cunningham is clearly better up top rather than out wide, but we’re moving 2 people out of that position to put Doherty in there.

Agreed re the Glasgow cup, total nonsense to be taking part in it. Does anyone else think that Rennie is the most obvious number 9 we have especially in that formation? Don’t see the sense in having him out wide when it seems he’s more suited to the middle and can actually hold the ball up.

Not sure how the 2 footed tackle was missed but glad it was. McGeever is a decent centre half, him and Sula are the best pairing I’ve seen this season. How some of those chances were missed is beyond me, genuinely easier to score for some of them. Felt like Peterhead had better chances whereas we had more of the ball and tried to make more happen. I think we should’ve went to a 442, rennie out wide didn’t work and Doherty needed a hand in holding the ball up which rennie does well. Excellent work from him for the goal and glad we had bodies in the box to stick it away. Did we deserve to win, probably not but we’ll take it. I hope I don’t see a game with 2 teams as bad as that again for a long time. Kurtis Roberts as said above was excellent, but I also thought Jon Craig had a very good game at left back as well.
