Good patter ya clown.

I wouldn’t wipe my arse with the record never mind read it.

Other than the bookies having him as a favourite, there is nothing to suggest thistle are even interested. So why we are talking about a replacement is beyond me.

This is Stranraers managers comments on last weeks game -
I’m not running away from it, if it had been a boxing match between Clyde and Stranraer it would have been stopped after 30 minutes because we were so far behind Clyde.
McInally showing himself up to be a fud yet again.

“Although Clyde will be buoyed by their 6-1 win, they were in a game until they got their penalty and Stranraer were reduced to 10 men.”
McInally in his pre game comments. Was 1 way traffic the full 90 last week.

Lennon is now 4/1. McBookie odds mean absolutely nothing
Does this mean he’s probably not attended an interview?

Lennon and McCall now both 5/4. Does this indicate he’s maybe attended an interview?
Or the bookies are wanting folk to put more money on it? How would the bookies know if he’s been to an interview?

Partick will have had to pay out a bit to let Caldwell go. I wouldn’t be surprised if they made Kenny Miller player manager until the end of the season.

You sure on that?.He was linked to the Rovers job along with others by the pressh.Dont recall any official that he was interviewed never mind offered the job
That was my understanding that he was linked(not strongly) but never offered it, or even interviewed.

It was in one of Norrie Innes’ statements a while back that one of the targets was to employ Danny full time. Whether this has happened or not I’m not sure but I doubt it.

Feels like we’ve barely played at Broadwood. This season Aside from the pitch instalment, by the start of November we will have played three “double aways” in the league. The club must be losing quite a bit of money.
Think the only plus on that is one home game was Falkirk and there was well over 2000 of a crowd.

We lost 1-0 in August last year at balmoor.

I’d maybe be inclined to bring smith back in, he’ll do a bit more on the defensive side however Johnston’s quality going forward can’t be overlooked. Would be happy with either starting.

I thought the first and third penalties were pretty clear, the second one is debatable.
The through ball from Johnston to smith for his goal was class, he’s class at those wee balls through like that.
Tough game at Peterhead next week, but we know we can win up there after last season.

Think I saw a post earlier - is that 65 goals in 102 appearances for DGW?

Imagine coming onto a thread just to post that, must not have much else to do with his Saturday night.
Away this weekend so wasn’t there but what a result and sounds like it could’ve been a lot more. We’ve definitely turned the corner after a difficult start this season.
Pleased to see smith get a first league goal too, but Goodwillie is a class act and deserved a day like today, it’s been a long time coming.

First few betfred cup games it was clear DGW wasn’t fully fit, since the league started he has and has been in good form. Scoring plenty but bringing others into the play.

90% of rumours on here are pish so I’m happy to wait for the club to announce anything.

It’s annoying when 1 person for example says we get 3k for travel, and another says 10k. Most people’s annoyance comes from clearly inaccurate info.
I don’t think p&b is place for putting up what the clubs finances are.

Need to keep the right attitude and just keep doing what we’ve been doing since the Falkirk game.
Would be a big 3 points at this early stage if we can get them.

I really can’t work out the point to the last 3 pages of this thread. Total rubbish.

So the governing body pay out between 3 and 10k we’ve established.
A home tie would be good for money in, although an away tie in wales or Ireland would be class.

Hilson was forfars best player I thought, he looked dangerous going forward.
Bit disappointed not to win it but said before the game a point would be a good one, so can’t complain too much. Defensively very sound again, Howie and rumsby seem to be forming a good partnership.
That referee was absolutely woeful, as was the linesman on our side.

Hope the weather is better in Forfar than down here, wouldn’t be difficult right enough.
