     (centre back & striker).

Yeah we just need a CB and striker to find now and we should be ready to go. But equally hopefully walls remains with us...him, newton and Healy is our biggest assets.

This squad seems be given a year as next summer I don't think no one's contracted for 25/26 I'm I right? given the Campbell's a year to improve with what we have got and with the addition of a couple and maybe two more needed in this summer window from the outside looking in.

So going by that, we are still in discussions with Newton, Walls and Nicol!!!

Would keep newts and walls bin Nicol but given Slattery signed up and sign a left back dunno if we should put newton on left wing and jack on the other side.

  3. Think it'll be wise to send youngsters Rollo, Murray, Ramsay and hambrook all out onloan for the forthcoming season to gain experience and playing in first team, game time.

It would also free up space in the first team for any new players or loan signings they may be giving the bench already has docherty and Slattery on it for a start.

It wouldn't be a bad option to have Fleming as our number 2/coach as we don't yet have a goalie coach.

  4. Someone mention somewhere we are going be 24 man squad at the moment we have 17 players signed up and in my guess players like Rollo, Ramsay, Murray, hambrook isn't getting into this team and should be loaned out freeing up more space to get quality in to improve what we have or have on bench to bring on.

I know loosing newton and walls or both is much of a blow than what's been released and I feel like what's the point trying make a profit from this youth pathway the club brought into if they are moving on but as you think about it we have brought in Peggie at left back, Slattery will pretty much be a squad player/bench wise can cover number positions though and we're pretty much covered at right back with Murdoch and docherty there and have two central defenders in Munro and Easton for me.

I think another CB, one or two in midfield and maybe 2 forwards we will be done and maybe get a goalie onloan I doubt there's any out there given Gaston away to Stirling so maybe see a club higher up giving us a goalie to compete with Fleming we should be done in terms of numbers and squad I say. So I say 4 or 5 new players is the aim still room to sign up.

  5. The suspense this morning is killing me already I wouldn't be against keeping Millar, McManus, Murdoch, shepherd, Trouten, Easton and Fleming on for another season but most of them have been at club for a season or more. I know many would disagree having shepherd but would be useful from the bench and he does run about the pitch so I still would have him back but not overly worried if he left either.

But like KK said above keeping Newton and Walls is the big deal and should pursued them both to stay as what's the point in our youth system if the club doesn't gain anything or any value to the football club likewise Healy, Rollo and Ramsay.

Though if we are to keep Rollo and Ramsay for another season they more likely go out onloan to a club eos league  than warm the bench same applies to Hambrook as I feel we rushed giving him a contract and we're stuck with him until his contracts up unless something happens. Our bench on season finish there was limited and no much options for both greig and dick and we saw that in season end there that I rather have guys that can bring something like the 11 on the park tbh and it hindered us season just past.

As for Munro and Peggie seems we have got ourselfs a replacement for Page/Comerford that departed as for Peggie we've never signed a left back since naysmith/penrice was here and we've shoved Slattery then newton at LB so if newton was to stay I like to see him back as a midfielder and gives us a option for a backup left back if need be.

Though the kids on Thursday night few gems I see potential in the boy upfront is it Jay Copeland, seems tall and can score goals at that level I believe he's been there for 12months I herd on Eftv he's one that should be on the radar likewise a few others in there but we shouldn't rush these boys either we have just promoted Ramsay and Murray and it's weather or not dick will use them they aren't going be quite ready be regulars at L2 level right away and another season for most of those players at U20s is needed hopefully we don't have to appoint another manager at that level I think we have used so many coaches down there until Garry Banks has came in also, looks to have steady the ship.

But yeah I can imagine the news will be those that's there, maybe news on the new home strip from errea! And possibly preseason friendlies and I wouldnt mind we set up friendlies to teams non league or eos sides or even get a wee ground hop day out somewhere at the end of June perhaps? Bear in mind the draw for the betfred cup is on Wednesday but aye the news will be a long the lines in any I have just said.

  6. Squad at the moment.

    Players signed-

Munro, Docherty, Hambrook, Healy and Fash!

Players we know are released or away-

Page, Comerford (Linlithgow) & Beveridge (Inverkeithing)

Players yet to sign or be released-

Fleming, Rollo, Murray, Murdoch, Newton, Easton, Millar, Slattery, Walls, McManus, Nicol, Shiavone, Trouten, Ramsay and Shepherd!

-Early days what the squad will be like I get the impression players can leave or stay from the outside looking in.

To be fair we signed him from Dundee United although they did loan him out to Cumbernauld!!!

I believed he was a regular there than at yinted but yeah we did though the latter more his level just like Mike Cunningham found a club at Sauchie.

Hopefully we get quality in to get excited about that's going to improve us. With Clyde improving there squad massively now and everyone else we need a team that is better than last season rollercoaster of a season and just managed to clinch 5th but went in a wimper towards season ends again says it all....

Wonder if Edinburgh city will be in this league they did have points deducted in league one last term but great to see Stranraer kept Ek down yesterday 😂

He was excellent preseason and I also thought he came on after his first few games but that injury totally fucked him!!!

It looked like that injury did indeed he'll be going back to lowland league like he was at before he joined us so one defender out and one defender in tonight.
