He was one i reckoned could have done a job for us (when available in the summer) - box to box and can finish too. Would have been an ideal foil for Slattery, pair them both with Spittal and you've got a fairly tasty well-ballanced midfield.

Was on the bus with Big Pie and Matt Johnston. We got to the Hyper market in Calais, first stop off the ferry. Someone commented that they had found the French equivalent of MadDog 20-20 and the shelves were emptied. About an hour further into the journey and with everyone getting steaming on "le 20-20", I was passed a bottle and afer a swig and quick check of the label announced that it was in actual fact "Orange Cordial" - ZERO percent alcohol. You never saw guys sober up so quick in your life . A similar thing happened at the stadium in Nancy - where it took ages for some to realise the "beer" they were selling was actually "alcohol free"
