Agree that Hammy has been brilliant since his return. He shows more stength than you expect to see. If we was not in defence tonight the score would have been worse.

Dunlop is a worry in defence. Need a defender on loan. A tall striker on loan would be good too. Thought Linn was poor tonight. Too greedy on the ball and should have looked to distribute the ball more rather than running too far and getting challenged. My motm was Hammy. I'm liking him at centre back and wouldn't mind if he stays there as I think Phillips is doing a decent job.

Is it the top 2 teams that go through the betfred group stages? If so then this game isn't really worth having our best players starting in case of fitness/injury worries.

Would also be good to see Kane start a game if he is fully fit and well.

And yes, to sign Hearts no.1 from last season would have been a massive ask but at the same time if it were to happen that would be a great signing. Anyone know if its just the 2 friendlies so far? I remember in the papers a while ago DC said that he was really excited about some big friendly games. Arbroath at home to Turriff United on 4th July Arbroath playing Raith Rovers on 9th July - yet to be decided if the game is home or away.

1 Goalkeeper to be signed on loan from either Dundee, Dundee Utd or Aberdeen is the rumour and another keep will be signed. It is possible that Rab Douglas might still sign on at the club but in a coaching role rather than playing role as he has supposedly hung up his boots.
