  1. Their priority isn't engaging with and providing quality content based on what the clubs *actual* supporters want and never will be. All about those likes and retweets and trying to get Manchester United to acknowledge our club's existence on twitter. They seem to be a bit detached from what the club should be about and there's no evidence of any clear joined up strategy.
  2. Wales were never losing this game, were they? Can't have a champion being pumped in their last game and ruining the celebrations. Absolutely ridiculous that they've had such a run of consistent luck and getting every decision. Can only imagine the differences to the entire campaign if Van Der Merwe hadn't been caught by that last-gasp tackle against them at Murrayfield. A true sliding doors moment for the tournament.
  3. My personal favourite was Hearts at home in December of the 2019/20 season on the halfway line late in the game. Seem to remember the full Hunter Stand gave him a standing ovation for it.
  4. This is a complete dead rubber but guarantee England and Ireland will still shitfest this game out. Have a go ffs, there's little to lose.
  5. Small sample size against a poor team but Steele looks very handy. Good passing range and quick tempo to his game which makes all the difference.
  6. Incredible the difference a moderately functioning line out makes.
  7. I'm thinking more about 3 wins being the barometer in each championship rather than the France game in particular, I wouldn't expect a win in Paris either but I always think we should get minimum 2/3 wins per championship, with anything less being a failure. We should have beaten Wales so that for me+ the Ireland game are the failures of the campaign and represent why I feel we've gone backwards.
  8. For me we need to start racking up similar scores against this mob to Ireland and Wales. Yes they should be respected but if we continue to struggle against them we'll never have a chance of a title win. The real acid test for Townsend in my opinion is France next week. If we don't win that we've gone backwards from the past few years and that is worrying.
  9. Difference between the two sides not only today but in every championship is this; do you think Ireland or Wales would make that stupid error immediately from kick off after conceding points? Of course they wouldn't. And we never bloody learn.
  10. That passage of play sums up this game, although we've earned a wee bit of luck against this mob.
  11. Is the camera angle playing tricks on me or do half the Irish passes in attack look forward?
  12. Collection of amateur errors there starting from the poor line out
  13. I'm sure Graham is absolutely shaken to the core that he's been denounced by the footballing gurus of sportscene. Hope it hasn't put him off his celebratory curry. Doubt he cares, he's already got the incompetent buffoons of Scottish football rattled at the fact we aren't bending over and accepting their decisions without criticism. Long may it continue.
  14. No wonder the team look like they've never seen each other before when the media team take half of them away for walks, Starbucks and drives every day. Wonder how many sessions Alexander has actually had with the full squad! In all seriousness, minimum requirement for a team in a relegation battle is making the opposition work for their goals and points. We don't even do that so what chance do we have.
  15. We look remarkably competent so far. Very controlling performance but still some stuff to improve on. That in itself is quite a compliment when we realise we could be even better!
  16. For all their possession and set pieces, Killie really didn't create many clear cut chances, think Kelly made his first serious save in stoppage time. If anything we created more clear cut chances and should have scored more despite our overall poor performance. Vital 3 points.
  17. Speaking of errors, when this is the oppositions winning goal you just have to accept it isn't your day. received_462956058072117.mp4
  18. Worst one for me is my players taking a throw in straight to an opposition player who has absolutely nobody around them. Happens far too frequently.
  19. Rarely, if ever have I seen Scotland utterly dominate a top tier side for such a prolonged period of the game. England were lucky to get away with 11-6. Outstanding stuff.
  20. I imagine that, much like the rest of the home support that night, you would have had a burning desire to claw your eyes out by that stage.
  21. Always said Tynecastle wasn't a suitable stadium for the top flight. Abolish relegation and make the premiership a closed shop until a time when we become half decent again.
  22. Here's what worries me most; how many Accies fans were actually concerned about a Motherwell comeback after we went 1-0 down? And how many Motherwell fans had any hope of us getting back into the game? Very low numbers I'd imagine. No fight, passion or even any evidence that our team *cared* today. Pathetic. 11 empty, gutless shitebags on the field. That is the only way to describe them.
  23. At least Robinson- like McCall- left with his dignity intact and with the best wishes and gratitude of most of the support. Best way to leave I suppose. He gave me some of my favourite days supporting Motherwell and presided over a period of evolution from the utter clusterbourach McGhee left him, to a team that played some outstanding football in the latter half of 18/19 and first half of 19/20. He also reenergised my passion for the club when it had been completely on the wane under McGhee too. Probably one of the best managers we've had in my lifetime and he certainly leaves a healthy legacy in many ways.
  24. Waiting for Valakari to become the favourite within the next week as usual.
