  1. Don't get me wrong, I always thought he was better than he was given credit for. Sorry to see him go and I'll probably make a trip or two over from the east coast to see him, but he's probably the most lovably infuriating player I can remember. For every goal that bounces in off his arse, he'll miss four good chances.
  2. Bit of a cult figure at Wimbledon, but mainly for falling over his own feet. Really hard working, fast and very willing but typified by winning the penalty in the League Two playoff final. Cut inside, beat himself and the defender with total miscontrol yet somehow contrived to get fouled. Has been "one for the future" for as long as we had him but he's never reallly looked like he's going to understand a) offside or b) what day it is. Wouldn't really have expected the future to be in the SPL! He's entertaining, that's for sure, and certainly has his impressive moments but please don't be too hard on him when he airkicks from a yard out.
  3. I'm a Wimbledon fan who's lived up here for a good few years now but have seen quite a bit of Fenlon. He has a huge amount of potential but never quite nailed down a permanent place with us. If anything, his flexibility counted against him and there have been persistent low-level murmurings about indiscipline (which may be frustration at not getting a regular slot). Cracking shot, fast, and can beat players - he'll do better for you going forward as a wingback taking the game forward than a reliably solid defender. Really hope he does well because I always liked the look of him but he's by no means the finished article and to be honest I didn't expect to see him playing at this level.
